2 New Items on Employer’s Requirement


• Utility common ducts shall be constructed under interfacing with Bina Marga
• Application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is required in design and as-built drawings
• Green initiative: CT VT design to consider surrounding environment and application of green fence along
construction area

CONSTRUCTION NEAR & CROSSING CANAL WITH LIMITED CONSTRUCTION SPACE

• Station Harmoni – Mangga Besar positioned


under Jalan Gajah Mada near Kali Batang Hari
• Entrance corridor will cross under Kali Batang Hari
• 4 Stories Stacked Station at Sawah Besar and
Mangga Besar chosen due to the limited
construction space

UTILITY DIVERSION

• There are a lot of utilities along construction area


• Major utility work (i.e. protection, diversion) to be expected during construction stage
• Limited construction space will be extra challenge for utility diversion work

CONSTRUCTION IN HERITAGE AREA
1 Stasiun Jakarta Kota
• MRT Jakarta Phase 2 will be constructed along
heritage & cultural area.

• Ground Level Design along Harmoni – Kota need to
be designed to preserve cultural identity of the
surrounding area
2 Gedung Arsip Nasional
• Several building along MRT Jakarta Phase 2
2 classified as class A heritage building

• Construction method needs to consider impact to


surrounding building

CONSTRUCTION NEAR NATIONAL LANDMARK

BANK INDONESIA PRESIDENTIAL PALACE

• There are 2 national landmarks with high security requirement near MRT Jakarta Phase 2 construction area
1. Bank Indonesia near Sarinah Station
2. Presidential Palace near Monas – Harmoni Station
• Risk and high security requirement need to be implemented during design (station & tunnel design),
construction & operation phase through security provisions due to the sensitivity of these two national
landmarks
