Project Manager(Mining)

September 2012 – Present (10 months) Sangasanga, Kaltim, Indonesia

Key Deliverable:

Project Initiation :
1.Conducting Project assessment for its feasibility and viability. Initiation of project
development activities for next stage ie. Mapping, scout drilling, detailed drilling,etc.

Project Planning:
1.Planning for Land acquisition, licensing process for IUP OP and coal evacuation
systems(Port).
2.Preparation of CAPEX and OPEX for both green field project and brown field projects.
3.Preparation of WBS and Scheduling of the project activities in coordination with section
heads like Mine manager, Planning engineer, Port Incharge, Procurement
Incharge,Sr.Surveyor and Office Manager.
4.Planning of port for coal evacuation system for the project and carryout the Techno-
Economic analysis.

Project Execution:
1.Excecution of Land acquisition activities like area measurement, verification of ownership
documents and confirmation with government department(Lura &Cemat) and final
Registration of land.
2.Implementation of project planning ie. execution of scout drilling, detailed drilling,
topography survey,etc.
3.Development of Project access road, construction of mine and port infrastructure,
preparation of port site etc.
4.Execution of Mine plan by Production tem as per the design and projections by the
planning Team
5.Communicating the project status and progress reports to the Stakeholder by weekly and
monthly.

Control and Monitoring:


1.Review the progress and mentoring of the project activities.
2.Conducting the periodic project review meeting to assess the progress, review resource
allocation.
3.Tracking of the project Cost and schedule of the activities for its deviation and expected
time of completion.
4. Monitoring the quality of coal extraction sequence, proper coal sample procedure, storage
facility, and supply to end user as aggreed quality.

Closing :
1. Preparation of Contract closure report and documents for the Organizational assets and
lessons learnt from the project.

Key Deliverable:

1.Techno-Economic analysis of New Project Proposal from the KP owners. Study the Project
for potential coal bearing, site inspection , analysis of logistics and OPEX cost estimation for
the project viability.

2.Preparation of CAPEX for Green field project and its optimisation.

Key Deliverable:

1. Monitoring of green field projects for Land acquisition, progress of project development
stages, verify the fund claim from the areas and certify as per the project report sanctioned
amounts and monitoring the same.
2. Periodic field inspection for the project sites to assess the progress
3. Preparation of the Technical PowerPoint presentation for Monthly Project Review Meeting
of Area General Manager( 8 Areas and 52 Mines)
4. Assess and Coordination with the Area General Managers and Project officers for the

8. Participated in conduction of Technical paper presentations – Collection, compilation,
preparation of books and organization of the event at the company level (8 areas and
58mines) on the topic of “Economics of Underground Mining”, Ramagundam area, Andhra
Pradesh, India.
