RULES AND REGULATIONS

GENERAL RULES
 The list of all the participants from each batch for each event mentioned
below has to be submitted to the Cultural Secretary on or before
29/05/2019 (Wednesday) .

 The reporting time for each event will be 30 minutes prior to the
commencement of the event.

 The overall trophy will be awarded to the group which scores maximum
points in total.

 The points awarded for group events are:

 15 points for 1st place

 10 points for 2nd place
 5 points for 3rd place

 The points awarded for the individual events are:

 10 points for 1st place

 5 points for 2nd place
 3 points for 3rd place

 Specific rules for each event are mentioned below and the participants are
requested to abide by them.

 Timing and schedule are available please make sure that participation
should not interfere with other events.

MEHENDI
 The maximum time limit would be 30 minutes.
 Only one round will be conducted from which winners would be selected.
 Mehendi cones will not be provided.
 Participants should not bring any images or pictures for help.

RAW COOKING:
 The participants are requested to bring all the necessary materials.
 Judgement is based on cleanliness, hygiene, presentation of the dishes and its taste.
 Only vegetarian
 The time limit would be 45 mins .
  If the time exceeds, negative marking will be done.
 No boiled products would be allowed.
 No electronic appliances should be used
 Maximum 3 dishes can cooked

HUMOUR TALK / MONO ACTING :

 It is a solo event
 Multiple characters can be enacted.
 In case of any vulgarity, the participant would be disqualified.
 The time limit would be 2-3 minutes.

ORIGAMI:
 Only square piece of papers are allowed ( strictly no A4 sheets )
 Usage of glue, scissors, stapler and tape are not allowed.
 Dual event
 Time limit of 30 mins
ANTAKSHARI:
 Elimination round shall be conducted.
 The only language used would be Tamil.
 Other detailed instructions would be provided on spot.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
 Participants are required to submit a set of five photographs which will be displayed
as a panel.
 Only professional cameras should be used.
 The judgement is based on creativity.
 The theme will be given on spot.

FUNK FROM JUNK:

 Materials should be brought by participants.
 The total time limit would be 30 minutes
 The preparation time would be 7 minutes excluding the total time.
DUBSMASH:
 The participants are requested to submit their videos three hours prior to the
commencement of the event.
 The time limit of each video would be 1-2 minutes .
 Both songs and dialogues shall be included.
SHORT FILM :
 The time limit would be 5-7 minutes.
 The film should convey a message.
 The video has to be submitted 3 hours prior to the commencement of the event.
 In case of any vulgarity, negative points will be given.
 No professional help should be given
 No clips should be taken from online

CARROM BOARD :
 Only Black and white will be conducted
 4Teams per class(2boys and 2girls)

CHESS :
 2 participants from each class
 5 minutes game
 Point based event and points will be calculated by 5th minute
QUIZ:

 Total 3 rounds
 Round 1- general
 Round 2- subject(eg.science,sports,etc)
 Round 3-personality round
 Elimination is done

FACE PAINTING:

 2 members per team

 Every team should carry its own colour and brushes, the colour should not be
harmful to face
 Theme will be provided on spot
 Decision of judges will be the final winner
 Strictly on using mobile phones

PENCIL SKETCH:

 Individual event
 Only pencil of different shade can be used
 Theme will be given on spot
  Decision of judges will be the final winner
 Strictly no using mobile phones

ADZAP
 10 minutes will be given to each team to prepare their ad .
 The order of performance and the product that has to be advertised shall be
decided through draw of lots.
 Each team will be given 3-5 minutes to enact
 If the time exceeds, negative marking will be done.
