LESSON PLAN
OBJECTIVES:
In this lesson, 70% of the learners should be able to:
A. Cognitive
 Identify the letter /Pp/
 Identify things that starts with the letter /Pp/
B. Psychomotor
 Create the sound of letter /Pp/
 Write the letter /Pp/
C. Affective
 Learn the importance of the animals in our community.
SUBJECT MATTER

MATERIALS:
Pictures, flashcards, box, big book
PROCEDURE:
I. Preliminary Activities
 Prayer
 Introduce yourself
 Warn-Up exercise
 Teach the “Shake Up Up” chant, “Silent” clap, and the “Wow” clap.
 Classroom Rules

 Introduce Dr. Smile, the Reward System. For every time a student answers correctly
and followed the rules, they will be given a tooth to put on Smiler.
II. Developmental Activities
a) Activity/Motivation
 Play the matching game.
 The teacher will put the pictures in the board and let them match it with its
partner.

 Ask the class what are the things that they saw. And the teacher will write it down
on the board.
 Ask: Who knows what letter this is?

 Introduce “Letter Pp” and tell them that Letter Pp has a story to share.
b) Analysis
 Tell the story “Pusang Gala”
PUSANG GALA
Araw ng Sabado, maagang nagising si Pina. Tutulungan niyang
 Ask questions about the story.
1. What day did Pina woke up early?
2. Why did she wake up early?
3. What did Pina get in the storage?
4. What did Pina saw in their garden?
5. What happened to the cat?
6. Do we need to take care of the animals that needs help? Why?
c) Abstraction
 The teacher will show a box. Inside the box there are these following items. Then,
the teacher will ask the pupils what the thing is and repeat it.
1. Papel
2. Payong
3. Puso
4. Piso
5. Pako
 Write the big and small letter Pp in the board.
 Make the students sound out the letter Pp.
 Ask the pupils to write the letter Pp in the air.
d) Application (Group Work)
 Group the students into 4 members.
 They will have to complete the picture of the puzzle.

EVALUATION:

The teacher will give each pupil a worksheet. And the pupils will paste pieces of the cat ears,
whiskers, and cat eyes inside the letter Pp.

INTEGRATION:
Let us be careful on how we interact with the people and animals around our community. Let us
always be kind and loving.
ASSIGNMENT:
Find pictures of things with letter Pp in it. Paste it on your notebook.
