Please submit the following documents to the invigilation staff prior to enter in the
examination hall:
1. The hard copy (signed) of the submitted online application attached with (i) Educational
Certificates and Mark Sheets of 10th, 12th/Diploma, and Degree, (ii) Caste Certificate, (iii)
Payment Slip, (iv) Award/experience certificates and publications (if any), and (v) Additional
document for SW candidates: No Objection Certificate, Experience Certificate, last 3 months
salary slip and Employer’s PAN card.
2. GATE Qualified Score Card (Marks should not be less than cutoff marks in the respective
category)
3. At least two recommendation letters in the given format.

Important Note: No candidate will be allowed to appear for the written test if he/she fails to
submit the above-mentioned documents well before the start of examination.

General Instructions:
[1] The copy of Master’s Thesis (for MTech/ME Degree holders)
[2] The candidates should bring their calculators for written test. Candidates should posses
only calculator, pen, pencil, eraser and ID proof during the test.
[3] No TA, DA and accommodation will be provided to the candidates.
[4] You should bring this call letter and the relevant documents, in original if any, for
verification.
[5] Written test will be conducted in Four specializations:
• Thermal Engineering (syllabus is General Thermal Engineering)
• Production Engineering (syllabus is General Production Engineering)
• Design Engineering (syllabus is General Design Engineering)
• Instrumentation and Control (syllabus is General Instrumentation and Control)

NOTE: Candidates will be allowed to select only ONE test paper from the above 4 specializations
and accordingly they need to report to the corresponding examination hall. The shortlisted candidates
need to appear before the respective interview board only.

NOTE: The venue is 25 km away from Indore Railway Station so accordingly candidates need to
make their travel plan to reach the venue on time. To reach IIT Indore, you may commute through
AICTSL Bus No. M-19 (plying frequently from Bhawarkuan Square, AB Road towards IIT Indore,
Simrol). Candidates commuting through two-wheelers are insisted to wear proper full head helmets,
as it is mandatory to wear helmets on two wheelers within the Institute campus.

Candidate may write to the hostel@iiti.ac.in, for accommodation in the Institute Hostel. Charges are
payable by the candidate online, in advance on arrival.
