1. Motivation:
“Eyes Spotty”
Class Get Ready your Eyes because is Tricky. I have here two pictures of a
Square shape, one on a Carolina and other one projected on the screen.
Which one do you like? Why?

2. Establishing the purpose of the lesson


a. What are the steps in adding new slide?
b. How to add a new slide?
c. Why is it important to consider the steps in creating slide?

3. Word Enrichment:
PowerPoint – is often used to create presentations and also use for
educational or informal purposes.
New Slide – Add slide is a single page of a presentation created with
software
Layout – refers to design and placement of different elements on a slide.

4. Learning Experiences:
4.1 Discuss the Following: Designing Presentation Aids
• Do not add too much content.
– Keep bullets short
• Visual aids should:
– Reinforce
– Support
– Summarize what you say
• Maintain continuity in: Colors, Fonts, upper and lowercase letters,
Styling, Boldface, Underlining, Italics
 Typeface – a specific style of lettering
 Fonts: – sets of sizes (called the point size)
– upper and lower cases

4.2 Remember in Creating a Presentation


1. Check that your lettering stands apart from your background.
2. Use a typeface that is simple, easy to read, and doesn’t distract from
your message.
3. Don’t overuse boldface, underlining or italics.
4. Use upper-and lowercase type.
5. Typeface Style and Font Size
6.Use bold, bright colors to emphasize important points.
7. Use softer, lighter colors.
8. Avoid dark backgrounds.

4.3 To Use PowerPoint:


• Become familiar with the toolbars
• Select your presentation option
• Learn how to create a slide
• Learn how to organize design elements
• Learn how to balance design elements

4. 3 Give the steps on how to add a new Slides presentation with the use of
PowerPoint Program
1. Double-click the Point Presentation This will open the presentation in
your Mac's PowerPoint program.
2. Click the space between two slides in the sidebar. The sidebar in the
left side of the PowerPoint window shows a summary of each slide in your
presentation; clicking the space between two slides will mark that space as the
point to which you add your new slide.
3. Click Insert. This tab is in the top-left side of your Mac's screen.
4. Click New Slide. It's toward the bottom of the drop-down menu. A
new slide icon will appear in the area you selected between the two slides.
You can click and drag your slide in the sidebar to reposition it in the
presentation's order.

Call at least three students to give a brief summary of the topic that has
been discussed.
