My name is Rubén Moreno, I study in the faculty of public health, medical school. I am in

HISTORY

The era of AIDS officially began on June 5, 1981, when the US Center for Disease Control and
Prevention gave alarm to patients infected with a virus that attacks the immune system of humans.
Country of origin
It is said that the initial knowledge was given in the African continent and is a disease derived from
the orangutan
Type of pathogen
It is a DNA virus, of the viridians family, it is very virulent and attacks the immune system.
Situation in Ecuador
In the country, support centers for infected people, training and various prevention campaigns
were established by the Ministry of Public Health, but every day there are new cases of HIV
infection.

RISK FACTORS
There are several risk factors that make a person vulnerable either consciously or unconsciously.
Sexual
People with several sexual partners, you have sexual relations without protection or occasional
sexual appointments with people without knowledge, frequent nightclubs that show sexual
services.
Labor
Work in establishments of high risk of infection as in clinical laboratories, hospitals and research
laboratories.
Inherited
Being pregnant and getting VH or having HIV and getting pregnant

PREVENTION
There are different levels of prevention according to the user's condition
Prevention
Directed to those people who are not infected and who are at risk
Secondary Prevention
Directed to those people who are infected but are stable with the goal of not developing AIDS.
Tertiary prevention
It is directed towards people who already have the virus and it is intended to eliminate the risks
that worsen their health.
THE END OF THE PRESENTATION
That´s all I want to say for now on HIV AIDS.
I like to end with a general summary.
HIV is an immunosuppressive disease that reaches the death of the patient.
