This document is a formal proposal for Responsive static web site to development for Brain Mapping Forum India,
Pune.
This proposal is based on the understanding the requirement discussed in the meeting with you and Mr. Datta Joshi at
your office at Pune. In the subsequent sections of this document, proposed solution architecture, critical success factors
and change management process are explained.

▪ Website Module
Home Page
This section is for all the users visiting the website. This will be the main landing page of the website which will
contain links to all other sections and will be designed most attractively. It would be developed with some slider
element highlighting variable images provided by the User.
Newsletter Module
This section will provide the user with information on the latest newsletter published by the Web site team at
regular intervals. A provision for auto archiving will also be made so that once the new newsletter is uploaded,
the older one moves to the archive section for lateral viewing. Collecting email addresses of potential visitors.
Photo Gallery
This will also be database driven module in with through CMS administrator or the assigned officials will be able
to add / modify/ delete photographs / videos. Administrator will also be provided with the option of uploading two
photographs, one of the thumbnails and another of its big size with caption. This facility will provide the user
with option of seeing only the photographs of his choice and he can do so by seeing the thumbnail of the
Online Registration - Audience can register self on website. User will get mail notification for the event.
Testimonials
As this is an important section of the website we plan to use at a prominent place on the home page itself. This
section will be developed using scripts, the content of this section at regular intervals. A provision for uploading
the photographs of the user, comments, name etc. will be given under this section.
Feedback management
This facility will help the user to give there feedback or suggestions about any topic related to the Group.

▪ Development Environment
a. Front-end of web application will be developed using Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Adobe
Dreamweaver.
b. The backend engine will be developed using .NET and MS-SQL Database Server. (If Applicable)
c. During development the web site will be hosted on Windows server with IIS Web server and MS-SQL
Database server.
➢ Requirement clarification
• Should ensure that all reviews are completed within 1 week of submission.
a. Accessibility of Documents: Converting existing documents for e.g. .doc, .xls, .pdf etc files into accessible
documents in not covered within our proposed solution. ABL team is advised to generate all new .pdf
documents using Adobe Acrobat 9.0
b. Document File Format: will only support XLS, DOC, DOCX, PDF format only.
c. The application would be launched only after the receipt of completion certificate from user.

A change management process is a process used to control and manage change requests within an existing /
under development project. Change Management process is needed for undertaking new requirements specified by
the user during / after the development of a project.
The purpose of change management is to ensure there is clear communication between the client and the service
provider about the requested variation from the accepted specifications, the impact on the time line, and the
projected cost of those changes. An added bonus to this process is the validation of authorization for the change
requests.

c. Speedy feedback on all deliverables, queries from Innovative Solution team officials.
d. Approval in each and every stage is necessary because work for next stage would only start after
approval of previous stage.
e. Examine and approve the sample layout within one week.
f. Controlling the scope creep (Frequent and uncontrolled changes in the scope or requirements of a
project).
g. Well established and effective communication channels from team.

a. Undertaking development as per the defined schedule.
b. Keeping on the progress through appropriate status reports.
