ANNUAL PICTORIAL NARRATIVE REPORT IN TEACHING

KINDERGARTEN

PART I

I. INDTRODUCTION
Kindergarten is the first opportunity for children to begin to understand that
school is a place for learning and working. They will learn about sharing, taking
turns, respecting the rights of others, and taking care of themselves. The
kindergarten program provides initial learning experiences in language
development, number concepts, creative skills, and social and physical growth.
Using concrete experiences, pupils are given the building blocks for perceiving,
thinking, and problem solving. Educational experiences provide balance and
variety among physical, mental, spiritual, and social activities as the child’s
world of awareness is extended from the home to the classroom.

III. ENCOUNTERED AND SOLUTIONS

1. Most pupils have difficulty in following rules and peacefully

interacting with their peers. In addressing this problem, we the Kinder
teacher should have the ability not only to enforce behavioral rules but
also to have more patience with our kids.

2. Holding their attention is one of the problem I met so therefore we

need to prepare activities that gives interest to them to catch their
attention.

3. Most pupil are attention seeker so they can cause distraction to the
class. Therefore, we teachers should always give positive feedback to our
pupils like giving them rewards and praising them.

4. Lack of instructional materials which can be used during teaching

Kindergarten so the teacher must provide everything from her own
pocket.
IV. RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Every Kindergarten classroom should have atleast 15 students per

session so that the teacher can attend to the needs of every learner.

2. The DepEd should provide instructional Materials that should be

based on the Developmentally Approach Practices.

3. The Local government must provide local paid teacher to assist

Kindergarten teacher.
