Raj Classic Foods Ltd.

2. What was your aim of the visit?

The objective of an industrial visit is to provide us an insight regarding


internal working of companies. We understand that theoretical knowledge is not
enough for a successful professional career. With an aim to go beyond
academics, industrial visit provides students a practical perspective of the work
place. It provided us with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction,
working methods and employment practices. It gives us an exposure to current
work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at
college. Industrial visits provide an excellent opportunity to interact with
industries and know more about industrial environment.

3. Write a brief introduction about the industry you visited?


Raj Classic Foods Limited was established in the year 1995. They are leading
Exporter and Importer and Supplier.
one of the most significant branches of food industry and fast expanding and
growing venture in the world. In order to mechanize, automate and streamline
Confectionery Goods making process, we develop and fabricate our plant that can
not only prepare Confectionery Goods in diverse types, shapes and sizes but also
ensure the large production without any technical hitch, meanwhile necessitating
less maintenance.

4. What are your key take backs from the visit?

The company is highly efficient and economical in all respects. the strong assets
which enable their products to stand apart are making & baking performance &
efficiency, less fuel consumption, competitive price and handling safety. This
constant endeavor of manufacturing Quality Biscuit Plant and Allied Machines
has enabled their company to be able to mark a significant identity in the
national markets.

5. Case Study:
As a manufacturing unit, what measures should be taken by Raj Classic Foods to increase its production
by not compromising on its quality?

How organised do you think is their manpower at various levels and are they equipped with the
required skill sets necessary to conduct the practices which this industry follows on a daily basis?
Examine the Existing Workflow. The first step is all about identifying pain points in current
workflow. Analyze the people, technology and processes required for production–as well as
the procedures, communication tools and resources available across the company.

Update Business Processes. Share current workflow problems with project managers to
develop improvement plans for the manufacturing process.

Encourage Collaboration. The manufacturing floor is most productive when everyone works
together towards the same goal with as little waste and conflict as possible. While focusing on
work is important, it's also crucial to ensure that each staff member feels comfortable as part
of a team. The better the members of your team can work together, the more they will
encourage a productive workplace culture.
