‫‪1- open a word document 2- type your title in the‬‬ ‫ﺑﺄﺣﺮف ﻛﺒﻴﺮة‬
‫‪center in capital letters‬‬
‫ﻓﻲ اﻟﻘﺎﺋﻤﺔ اﻟﺮﺋﻴﺴﻴﺔ اﻧﺘﻘﻠﻮا إﻟﻰ ﻣﺴﺎﺣﺔ اﻟﺨﻄﻮط ‪3-‬‬
‫‪3- on the home menu go to the fonts space and‬‬ ‫" واﺧﺘﺮ ‪ 12‬ﻧﻮع اﻟﺨﻂ "ﺗﺎﻳﻤﺰ ﻧﻴﻮ روﻣﺎن‬
‫‪choose 12 and Times New Roman‬‬
‫" " ﻹﻧﻬﺎء ﻓﻘﺮة اﻧﻘﺮوا ﻋﻠﻰ "ادﺧﺎل‬
‫‪4- break into paragraphs by hitting enter‬‬
‫اﺳﺘﺨﺪﻣﻮا ﻓﺮاغ ﻗﺒﻞ ﻛﻞ ﻓﻘﺮة ﺟﺪﻳﺪة ‪5-‬‬
‫‪5- use indentation before every new paragraph‬‬
‫اﺿﻐﻄﻮا ﻋﻠﻰ "ﺗﺎب " ﻣﻦ أﺟﻞ اﻟﻘﻴﺎم ﺑﺎﻟﻔﺮاغ‬
‫‪6- press Tab key to make the indentation‬‬
‫ﻳﺠﺐ أن ﻳﻜﻮن ﻫﻮاﻣﺶ اﻟﺠﺎﻧﺐ ﺑﺤﺠﻢ ‪ 1‬ﺑﻮﺻﺔ ‪7-‬‬
‫‪7- margins on the side should be the size of 1 inch‬‬
‫ﻛﻴﻒ ؟ اذﻫﺒﻮا إﻟﻰ اﻟﻘﺎﺋﻤﺔ اﻟﺮﺋﻴﺴﻴﺔ ﺛﻢ ﺗﺨﻄﻴﻂ اﻟﺼﻔﺤﺔ ‪،‬‬

‫اﻧﻘﺮوا ﻋﻠﻰ زر اﻻﻋﺪادات اﻷﺳﺎﺳﻴﺔ واﻗﺒﻠﻮا اﻟﺘﻐﻴﻴﺮ‬
‫‪click on the default button and accept the change‬‬
‫ﻟﻤﻌﺮﻓﺔ ﻋﺪد اﻟﻜﻠﻤﺎت اﻟﺘﻲ اﺳﺘﺨﺪﻣﺘﻮﻫﺎ ‪ ،‬اﻧﻘﺮوا ﻋﻠﻰ ‪8-‬‬
‫‪8- to know how many words you used , click on the‬‬ ‫زر اﻟﻤﺮاﺟﻌﺔ ﺛﻢ اﺧﺘﺎروا اﻟﻔﻘﺮات اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺤﺘﺎﺟﻮن إﻟﻰ‬
‫‪review button then select the paragraphs you need‬‬ ‫ﺣﺴﺎب ﻋﺪد ﻛﻠﻤﺎﺗﻬﺎ‬
‫‪to get counted‬‬
‫ﺛﻢ اﺿﻐﻄﻮا ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﻌﺪاد اﻟﻜﻠﻤﺎت‬
‫‪then press words count‬‬
‫ﻟﻠﺘﺤﻘﻖ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺘﻬﺠﺌﺔ ‪ ،‬ﺣﺪدوا اﻟﻔﻘﺮة اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺮﻳﺪون ‪9 -‬‬
‫‪9- to check spelling , select the paragraph why want‬‬ ‫اﻟﺘﺤﻘﻖ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ واﺿﻐﻄﻮا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻤﻠﻒ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻘﺎﺋﻤﺔ ‪ ،‬ﺛﻢ‬
‫‪to check and press on the file menu , then spelling‬‬ ‫اﻟﺘﺪﻗﻴﻖ اﻹﻣﻼﺋﻲ واﻟﻨﺤﻮي‬
‫‪and grammar‬‬
‫ﻹﺟﺮاء ﺗﻐﻴﻴﺮات ﻓﻲ ﻣﻘﺎﻟﺘﻜﻢ ‪ ،‬ﻣﺜﻞ ﻗﺺ ﻛﻠﻤﺔ واﺣﺪة ‪10-‬‬
‫‪10- to make changes throughout your essay , like‬‬
‫ﻣﺎذا ﺗﻔﻌﻠﻮا ؟ اﺧﺘﺎروا اﻟﻜﻠﻤﺔ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺮﻳﺪون ﺗﻐﻴﻴﺮﻫﺎ أو‬

‫وﺿﻊ ﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﺎ‬

‫وﺳﺘﺮون اﻟﻤﺜﺎل ﺑﻌﺪ ﻗﻠﻴﻞ‬
‫‪then double strike-through‬‬
‫وﺗﺬﻛﺮوا ﺗﻠﻚ اﻟﻨﻘﺎط ‪ :‬اﻟﺨﻂ و ﻣﺤﻮر اﻟﻤﻮﺿﻮع واﻟﺨﻂ‬

menu and choose the review menu ‫ﺗﻌﻠﻴﻘﻜﻢ‬

then new comment , and it will pop up for you to
type your comment in
lets go ahead and see the sample essay and apply
some of what we have just discussed

we said use capital letters and you see sample is ‫ ﻳﻤﻜﻨﻜﻢ أن ﺗﺮوا أن اﻟﻔﻘﺮة ﻟﻴﺲ ﻟﻬﺎ‬، ‫اﻵن إذا اﻃﻠﻌﺘﻢ أدﻧﺎه‬
capitalized , but if it is a title then we knew to ‫ﻣﺴﺎﻓﺔ ﺑﺎدﺋﺔ‬
capitalize the first letter of the main words

now if you go below , you can see that the ‫" ﺗﺎب‬
paragraph has no indentation
‫وﻫﺬا ﺳﻴﻈﻬﺮ ﻟﻜﻢ ﻋﻠﻰ أﻧﻪ ﺑﺪاﻳﺔ ﻟﻔﻘﺮة ﺟﺪﻳﺪة‬
you place the cursor at the beginning of the
‫وﺗﺴﺘﻤﺮون ﻓﻲ ﻓﻌﻞ اﻟﺸﻲء ﻧﻔﺴﻪ ﻣﻊ ﻛﻞ ﻓﻘﺮة ﺗﺒﺪؤون‬
paragraph and hit Tab
‫ﺑﻬﺎ ﻹﻇﻬﺎر أﻧﻜﻢ ﻗﺪ اﻧﺘﻬﻴﺘﻢ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻔﻘﺮة اﻟﺘﻲ ﻗﺒﻞ‬
this will show you that it is a beginning of a new

if we want to check for spelling mistakes or grammar

mistakes , we press Ctrl + A to select all ,and then

we go to review button
‫ واﻟﺘﻲ ﻫﻲ ﺗﻨﺘﻬﻲ ﺑﺄﺣﺮف‬، ‫" ﻟﺪﻳﻜﻢ ﻛﻠﻤﺔ ﺗﺼﻨﻴﻒ‬ies" ‫وإذا‬
now under review button you see spelling and
، ‫ ﻓﺈﻧﻪ ﻳﺴﻠﻂ اﻟﻀﻮء ﻋﻠﻰ ﻛﻠﻤﺔ ﺗﺼﻨﻴﻒ‬، ‫ﻧﻈﺮﺗﻢ أدﻧﺎه‬
grammar ,
‫ﻟﺬﻟﻚ ﻫﺬا ﺧﻄﺄ إﻣﻼﺋﻲ‬
if you go to the side of the screen , it gives you
‫ ﻷﻧﻜﻢ ﺗﻌﻠﻤﻮن أﻧﻬﺎ ﻣﻜﺘﻮﺑﺔ‬، ‫ﻟﺬﻟﻚ ﻻ ﺗﻀﻐﻄﻮا ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﺠﺎﻫﻞ‬

so we do not press on ignore , because we know

grammar and you can move on to the next point

another thing , we said that have to use double
‫ ﺗﺤﺘﺎﺟﻮن إﻟﻰ اﻻﻧﺘﻘﺎل إﻟﻰ‬، ‫ﻟﻠﺘﺤﻘﻖ ﻣﻦ ﻫﻮاﻣﺶ ﻣﻘﺎﻟﺘﻜﻢ‬
space when we are writing an essay , so again we
‫ﺗﺨﻄﻴﻂ اﻟﺼﻔﺤﺔ‬
select all
‫ ﻳﻤﻜﻨﻜﻢ اﻟﻤﻀﻲ ﻗﺪﻣً ﺎ‬، ‫وﻟﺪﻳﻜﻢ ﺧﻴﺎرات ﻣﺨﺘﻠﻔﺔ ﻫﻨﺎ‬
go back to the home menu , we go to paragraph and
‫واﻟﻀﻐﻂ ﻋﻠﻰ إﻋﺪاد اﻟﺼﻔﺤﺔ‬
there you see line spacing , you choose " double
‫ﺛﻢ ﺳﺘﻈﻬﺮ ﻟﻜﻢ ﻧﺎﻓﺬة ﺣﻴﺚ ﻳﺠﺐ ﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ ﺗﺤﺪﻳﺪ اﻟﻬﻮاﻣﺶ‬
space " and you hit okay

and that way the entire essay will be double spaced
to check out the margins for our essay , we need to
go to page layout
and we have different options over here , you can go
ahead and press page setup
and then it will bring you to a window where you
have to specify margins
sometimes it can be more or less , but we want to
choose 1
it is already ......we only reduce it to 1 only and you
have it from the top ,the bottom , the left and the
right
and then you hit OK and then it fixes the margins for
you
over here we had written something in bold print and
we need to remove this
again we select the part that is in bold print and we
could go back and undo the bold print
now lets see over here we have something to say
about the paragraph and we want to add a comment
again we could go to review and it says show
comments
first of all you need to put in a comment and then
show that comment
so over here it pops up and you could put , you
could type in like ...
redo this paragraph ....
of course you put save to save all the changes that
you have made
this way you will get to see the comment that you
have made next time you come back
if there is anything else we need to check out , just
