grammatical signals for opinion-making, persuasion and emphasis.
B. Performance Standard The learner transfers learning by composing and delivering persuasive speech based on an informative essay featuring use of properly
acknowledged sources, grammatical signals for opinion-making, persuasive and emphasis, appropriate prosodic features, stance and
behavior.
C. Learning Competencies Determine the stand of the speaker on a given issue presented in the text listened to
EN8LC-IIIe-7.1

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


A. Identify the speaker's stand on the issue
