 General Situation of Road Traffic Accident

By 2017, there were 3,686 road accidents and 13,356 victims. Among the victims,
there were 1976 deaths (an average of more than 5 death per day) and 4,870 serious
injuries (on average of more than 13 serious injuries per day)

 General Situation of Road Traffic Accident

• The death rate was 54% at the age of 15-34 years.

• 7% of the dead were children under the age of 15.

• Over speeding was the leading cause of death among human factor, with
36%, followed by 14% of over pass in dangerous situation, 14% of less
rightly driving and 12% under alcohol influence.
