Hiring Top Executives

In this article the author has clearly stated his views on importance of effective hiring process of top
executives in a company. After surveying, the author found many flaws in the process of
recruitment, so he came up with seven structured process and has explained the ideas in brief.

As the author states that the company should focus on the need for proper hiring process and how
effectively the future employees may perform in the company. It also emphasises on the capabilities
of the employee required for that specific position in a company and how well the candidate fits in
the organisational culture. The company must search and have diverse sources for faster hiring
process. Involvement the HR and line managers while assessing the candidates and they are
supposed to conduct detailed reference checks. The managers must present the realistic
presentation of both the opportunities and challenges of position offered by the company. A mentor
to be assigned to the newcomer to work effectively towards the company’s goals. In case of bad
performance of the newcomer, they must be eliminated.

In conclusion, the article includes all the essential factors and by adopting these methods a company
can achieve its goal and support opportunities in the future and create effective standard hiring
process.
