    TOPIC Saving Money
    LEARNING  To be responsible in making decision on money matters
    OBJECTIVES  To appreciate the source of money received
     To be able to open savings accounts

    ACTIVITIES Pre Lesson:

    1. Pupils identify some pictures of money (notes/coins).


    2. Pupils name the amount of the money.
    3. Pupils briefly tell the class what they do with the money using their prior
    knowledge.

    Activity 1

    1. Pupils listen to a dialogue read by the teacher.


    2. Pupils discuss in groups to answer some questions on money.
    For example:
    How much money do you bring to school every day?
    When do you use the money?
    Is money important to us?
    How to use money wisely?

    3. Pupils share their answers to the class.

    Activity 2

    1. Pupils practise the dialogue with a partner with teacher’s guidance.


    2. Pupils role play the dialogue to the class.

    Activity 3

    1. Pupils elicit the values on spending and saving money wisely.


    2. Pupils and the teacher tell to each other/class on spending and saving
    money wisely.
