Madam:

This is to recommend MARILOU M. NICART to be the Subject Head of English

Department for the School Year 2019-2020 in addition to her function as permanent teacher of
this school.

With the given designations, the school expects her to perform the following the duties
and responsibilities bound to her posts, for the good of the organization and for the best interest
of the school:
The undersigned believes that this special assignment is in recognition of her
commitment and competence that she has demonstrated while discharging her primary duties
as teacher.

1. Lead in the gender mainstreaming in policies, plans and programs projects and activities
(PPAs) and in the assessment of gender-responsiveness of systems, structures,
policies, procedures and programs based on priority thrusts, needs and concerns of the
school for its stakeholders, particularly students, teachers and employees;
2. Analyze school programs and projects using the Harmonized GAD Guidelines for
Programs and Projects to determine their gender sensitivity;
3. Recommend formulation/revision of policies in advancing women’s status and child
protection;
4. Implement advocacy activities, including the development of information, education and
communication materials to ensure consciousness-building and generating support for
GAD;
5. Prepare GAD plans and budgets and accomplishment reports and ensure their timely
submission to Division Office
6. Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the GAD Plan and PPAs and the
judicious utilization of the GAD budget;
