1 Subsystem down by the Shadow Image pair operation

Contents When an initial copy of a Shadow Image pair starts on an unsupported configuration, subsystem down,
data inconsistency and PSUE may occur.
The DF700 does NOT support the following configuration (cascade) for Shadow Image. However, the
guard logic for unsupported configuration has a problem and when an initial copy of Shadow Image pair
starts on the unsupported configuration subsystem down may occur.

The problem may occur with all of the following conditions met:
A) Microcode version is 0750/A or later
B) Unsupported Shadow Image configuration (cascade)
C) MU# of P-VOL is not 0 (If MU# is 0, the guard logic is affective)
