E FFECTIVE STOREKEEPING – FOR STORES & WAREHOUSE MAN

Attendees will learn how the stores or warehouse


function affects and contributes to both the
profitability and efficiency of an organisation and the
importance of controlling inventory.
Attendees are made aware of the significant
investment stock represents and the necessity for strict
control.
Contemporary methods and techniques for the
efficient storage of inventory are explained along with
emphasis on practical issues such as security, stock
accuracy, optimising the use of space, reducing surplus
and obsolete stock and stocktaking. To improve good
stock management and distribution management,
special competencies are needed to be able to apply
appropriate strategies in warehouse management.
Through this training participants will be given an
understanding of the functions of storage, storekeeping,
distribution, integrated warehouse management, and
their influence in improving operational efficiency.

Objective
+ Increasing knowledge, skills and professional attitudes in managing inventory and warehousing
for employees in an effective and efficient logistics arrangement.

Training Method
The training method will be emphasized for adult training held in a participatory manner, active in a
pleasant atmosphere with various methods used: Pre-test and Post-test, Simulation / Games / Roleplay,
Video training, Sharing & discussion, and Action plans (Plans Action).

Duration
This training is designed with a duration of 2 days and every day will take an effective 8 hours.
