About Prof. Sourav Pal
Prof. Sourav Pal is one of the
pioneers in the area of Quantum
Chemistry. Prof. Pal is the Director
of the Indian Institute of Science
Education and Research (IISER)
Kolkata since 2017. Previously, he
served as the Director of National
Chemical Lab (NCL), Pune. He has
made significant contributions
Prof. Sourav Pal towards establishing computational
FRSC, FNA, FNSc, FASc and theoretical chemistry. He is a
Director Fellow of the Royal Society of
IISER - Kolkata Chemistry and all Indian National
Academies. Prof. Pal received
Distinguished Speakers several awards including
prestigious Shanti Swarup
- Prof. Sourav Pal Bhatnagar Award and J.C. Bose
Director, IISER - Kolkata Fellowship.
