Sick Leave Policy - UK

The success of Cyient Europe Ltd (Cyient) is a result of the full commitment each associate
makes to our mission. Occasionally associates experience situations that require them to be
away from their work. Please refer to the UK Statutory regulations for overview, eligibility,
and authorization details and requirements. If you have any questions about this or any
other leave policy, please discuss your situation with your manager, HR Business Partner, or
the applicable HR Benefits Specialist.

Notification to Cyient

Please notify your manager of your sickness immediately, at a minimum within one hour of
your normal scheduled work day on the first day of incapacity. Please take the appropriate
steps to inform your manager through a third person in case you are not able to notify in
person. Upon your fourth day out of the office, you are required to submit a medical
certificate, from your attending physician. Cyient needs to have the original medical
certificate, a copy is not sufficient. Please adress the medical certifacte to the HRBP team. In
the event you fail to do so, Cyient will assume that you have been absent from work without
justification, or at least you have acted against your notification obligations, wherein the
company will then be entitled to take appropriate disciplinary action.

If the leave is foreseeable, please notify an HRBP team, your group manager or group
executive of your pending leave 30 days in advance or once known.

For leaves in excess of three (3) business days, you must submit a medical certificate
completed by your attending physician, that states the date treatment began for the
condition, and the anticipated time needed for recovery. It is the associate’s responsibility to
ensure that the attending physician’s medical certificate is completed by the attending
physician, and is returned to the HRBP.

Cyient reserves the right to obtain a second opinion, or additional documentation as needed
to authorise leave. The completed forms should be forwarded to an HRBP. The HRBP will
notify you of the details relating to your sickness leave and SP benefits.
