V. TITLE HEARING
A. Present the 3 titles created and its corresponding objectives
based on the field of specialization. (PERFORMANCE 1)
B. Only one title will be approved.
VI. CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
A. Background of the Study (OUTPUT 5)
- Overview or background of the research study
- Brief definition of the variables
- What other authors said about the study?
- What is the research gap?
- What you are going to do in order to bridge the gap?
B. Statement of the Problem (OUTPUT 6)
- states the main and specific objectives of the study
- serves as guide questions in order to establish
parallelism in the whole output
- All SOP should be achieved in the result of the study.
C. Statement of Hypothesis (OUTPUT 7)
- states the proposed hypothesis of the study (either
testing for relationship or testing for difference)
- uses the null hypothesis (Ho)
D. Framework of the Study
- consists of both Conceptual and Theoretical
Frameworks
1. Conceptual Framework (OUTPUT 8)
 - provides the diagram as the flow of the study
in terms of the concepts
2. Theoretical Framework (OUTPUT 9)
- provides the theory that will support the study
and its concept
- serves as the foundation of the study
E. Significance of the Study (OUTPUT 10)
- Who can be benefitted in the results of the study?
- What benefits can they get?
F. Scope and Limitation of the Study (OUTPUT 11)
- Scope refers to the coverage of the study
- Limitation refers to the weaknesses of the study
G. Definition of Terms (OUTPUT 12)
- Define the terms used in the study both conceptually
(definition in the dictionary, etc) and operationally
(based on how it is used in the study).
