Recent work: Students have finished Unit 5 - Higher education.

Aims: This lesson aims to:


- introduce and practice vocabulary items related to job interview.
- help students understand major details of the reading text.
- introduce tips before, during and after an interview.

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


- Language:
o understand and use new vocabulary items: vacancy, résumé, recommendation,
jot down, keenness, qualification.
o develop their reading subskills: predicting, scanning, and reading for detail.
o improve their speaking skill through follow-up activities.
- Social knowledge/Education:
o know some factors that would help them succeed in a job interview.
o know some common questions which are usually asked during an interview.

Approaches: GTM, CLT, PPP.

Teaching aids: BB, textbook, and word cards.
