2. Site Preparation & Pre-  Personnel Injury  Site supervisor shall conduct pre-job (toolbox) safety meetings with Site Supervisor / All
task Meeting site personnel to address job-specific safety issues prior to
beginning work activity.
 Supervisor shall inspect site to detect and correct unsafe acts and
conditions.
 Supervisory personnel, safety personnel and/ or other qualified staff
shall be present at the job site while work is in progress.
 Work permits shall be used to control hazardous work activities at
all SA facilities and locations.
 Adequate number and types of fire extinguishers shall be available
at job site
 Traffic control plan shall be developed for jobsite to include parking
areas, speed control and signage.
 All personnel to wear complete PPE i.e. Safety Helmet, Safety
Shoes, Safety Glass, FRC/Coveralls and working gloves.
 All drivers shall comply with G.I- 6.030 Traffic Control and Vehicle
Safety.
3. Erection of Scaffolding  Falls  Scaffolds shall be inspected and tagged by SA certified scaffold
supervisor before its first use.

 An adequate amount of trash receptacles shall be available in work
areas.
 Site supervision shall ensure that trash and debris is properly
collected and disposed of daily.
 Environmental Pollution  Trash containers shall be of durable construction and shall be Site Supervisor / All
located as needed throughout the work area. Trash containers shall
be covered, clearly marked and emptied daily.
 Plastic Bottled water or disposable cups shall be provided at site
daily.
 Storage and disposal of nonhazardous and hazardous waste in
shall be in accordance with GI 430.001 and Arkad CEWMP
 Waste shall be segregated at all times in accordance with waste
handling requirements.
 Separate trash containers, with suitable disposable plastic liners,
shall be provided for food scraps and other organic matter.
 Refuse trash and garbage shall only be disposed of at approved
sites as designated by SA or local community.
 Excavation spoils and building materials shall only be disposed of
at other approved sites as designated by SA or local municipality.
