on elections. Most powerful country in South America. Good relation with States but
corruption is a big issue.

rate.

Social: Middle class is growing and keen interest in football. Lacks education and criminal
violence is the major concern.

Technology: Good technological resources and very interested in smart phones.

Legal: Highly bureaucratic, high rate of taxes but government is making efforts to help
investors to start a business. So, it is an opportunity

Environmental: Abundantly available resources but deforestation is biggest issue. Country

aims at eradicating the environmental problems.

Conclusion: Good agricultural edge, good trading relations with other countries and duties
are quite low thus good grounds to establish a fertilizer company.

Group 2: PESTLE Analysis of TATA Steel

They are going by polycentric approach.

Political: Good stability in politics. Not effected by change in government.

Economical: GDP is 1.8 Trillion. Many free trade agreements and 2% economic growth.

Social: Best living standard, if we establish in BC more employment can be given to people.

Technology: Good technology present in Canada thus highly equipped machines can be
sourced.

Legal: Employment laws, Minimum wage in BC is 13.88 so it’s better to establish factory
there.

Environment: Various emission from steel production, but we will recycle our waste
efficiently. Do the rock drain agreement.

Conclusion: After PESTLE analysis, we can see the factors are in favor to establish a steel
plant in BC.
