The Character is a sixteen year old young girl in a body of a 49 year old young lady.

Yes, her childhood evoke so many happy memories together with her family living in
a community with a distinct culture, norms and standards different from the common
contemporary people during that time.

Her relationships with her family was quite good and intimate, considering the fact
that she and her siblings were brought up by their parents instilling the belief that our
God almighty is the source of all Wisdom and blessings and that following the
commandments of God should be our guide to live harmoniously, peacefully with our
brethren and acquire the ultimate goal of happiness in our every life.

Having been brought up in this warm and wholesome environment, I grew up

believing that my relationship with family is the most important thing in my life. They
made me complete. Their overflowing love, care and support for one another was felt
ever since I was born. My parents worked their best to support us and sustain our
needs when we were growing up. They instill in us the value and importance of
education and our faith in God. Their faith did not waiver amidst all the overwhelming
trials, obstacles and hardships our family have encountered while my parents tried
their best in sending all nine of us to school simultaneously. I could not help but
smile and wonder, how did it all happen. It was the most amazing journey in our life. I
think I know now that all the things that came to our life, was our God’s prior plans
and purpose. Stronger than ever my faith in God is the fuel that pushes me to go
through life where he leads me. , Never did I once think that God would leave us. I
often saw my father went to Sr. Sto. Niño in Cebu City, asking for wisdom and
guidance, and intercession every time an overwhelming need came to our family.
And yes, so true to say. My family oftentimes was able to overcome the trials in our
life.

As a living witness to my family’s love, affection, care and strong faith in God. It is
just a simple thought to say, that I was totally being molded to their ways and style of
parenting. The strong relationship that we had defeating the odds in our life was
carefully embedded in my system that no amount of obstacles and difficulties can
beat it. The same relationship style that I have acquired is the same style that I have
offered to the people that I have met and cared for. I care about my family, loved
ones, friends my community and most of all my faith in God almighty.
I am obsessed in transforming the lives of others by showing them the ways that I
was brought up with, the kind of relationship that I was exposed to and how it
influenced my feelings, thoughts and my behaviors in relating to other people.

My biggest fear in my life is to lose anyone of my family, but knowing God has his
own purpose for each of our lives, I know God is with us in every step of our journey.

The best thing that ever happened was to be born in a family, where overflowing love
and affection and faith is very strong and evident. The worst is yet to come, I hope
that will still be a long time to come. But I fear nonetheless, for I believe that God
won’t give us troubles and trials that we can’t bear. He is confident that we can
surpass it whatsoever it may.
