➢ NW Calgary Chiropractic
Chiropractic care in Alberta is a regulated health
profession that focuses on musculoskeletal
injuries of the entire body. Doctors of
Chiropractic are well versed in the treatment of
headaches, neck pain, mid back pain, low back
pain, sciatica, pregnancy related pain, neck pain
from concussions, jaw pain, and more.

➢ Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology tape provides support to an injured
area, while permitting full range of motion.

It can be used in combination with other

therapies, and may help reduce pain
temporarily, while improving range of motion
and proprioception (body position sense).
Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
BPPV is the most common cause of true vertigo,
characterized by brief, intense periods of vertigo,
provoked by changing positions of the head and
neck. Symptoms in BPPV are caused by
displacement of the Otoconia (crystals in the inner
ear that tells our brain where we are in space). Most
commonly, BPPV is precipitated by head trauma,
and is more frequent with advancing age.

Laser for Pain

Our NW Calgary Laser Therapy Clinic utilizes the
Bioflex Laser System.
Laser Therapy works by increasing production of
the following:
endorphins (pain killers made by the body)
growth hormone production which is essential for
tissue repair and healing
ATP (our body's energy source)
Protein Synthesis (collagen, DNA, fibroblasts)
