NOTICE PAINTING & REPAIR WORK OF OFFICE BUILDINGS
AT STATE BANK OF PAKISTAN SBP BSC (BANK),
RAWALPINDI. Sealed tenders are invited from the approved
contractors/ contracting firms dealing in the above mentioned
work. Those Contractors, who have completed or in hand of
painting work of Building having covered area of about 100,000
Sft. shall be eligible to get the tender documents. (Documentary
evidence of satisfactory performance required). Tender documents
can be obtained at the cost of Rs.500/- (Non-refundable) from
Engineering Unit, 2nd. Floor, New Office Block, SBP BSC (Bank),
The Mall, Rawalpindi up to 07-02-2009. The amount of Earnest
Money for the above tender is 2% of total tender amount payable
Description
in the form of Bank Draft/Payment Order in favour of the State
Bank of Pakistan SBP BSC (Bank), Rawalpindi. The conditional
tenders and tenders without earnest money shall not be
considered. This tender is only invitation to offer and the Bank
may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance
of a bid or proposal and shall, upon request, communicate to any
supplier or contractor who submitted a bid or proposal, the
grounds for its rejection of all bids or proposals but is not required
to justify those grounds PPRA’s rule 33(1). The bank shall
announce the results of bid evaluation in the form of a report
giving justification for acceptance or rejection of bids at least ten
days prior to the award of contract PPRA’s rule 35. Further
personal convincing or recommendations will disqualify the
bidders. . Tender should be dropped in the sealed Tender Box kept
with the Deputy Chief Manager, (Admn.), 2nd Floor, New Office
Block, SBP BSC (Bank), Rawalpindi by 11:00A.M on 09-02-2009
.The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11:30 A.M in the
presence of those contractors/ bidders who may like to be present.

scraping the surface/sand papering, preparation of surface,
complete as per directions of the Engineer-In-charge. 5,000 Sft. Per
Sft. 4 Providing & applying two coats of plastic emulsion paint
(ICI Dulux or approved equivalent brand) of approved shade or
colour at any height and at any floor including scraping the
surface/sand papering/re-preparation of surface, complete as per
directions of the Engineer-In-charge. 3,500 Sft. Per Sft. 5 Providing
& applying two coats of vinyle emulsion to false ceiling of the
buildings (ICI Dulux or approved equivalent brand) of approved
shade or colour at any height and at any floor, complete as per
directions of the Engineer-In-charge. 15,000 Sft. Per Sft. 6
Providing & applying French polish to doors, frames including
sand papering, preparation of surface including repair (if
required) smooth, at any height and at any floor, complete as per
directions of the Engineer-In-charge. 3,500 Sft. Per Sft. 7
Repair/replacement work of damaged existing false ceiling of
different sizes matching to existing design including cost of
powder coated suspension system of T-section 1”x1” size ,
complete with fitting & fixture as per directions of the Engineer-In-
