This time I’m going to post pictures on the board and try to scrutinize and analyse
what’s all about the picture?
(The teacher will post pictures on the board and let the students to think and analyse the picture
presented)
These are the following possible questions that the learners should answer.
1. What can you say about the picture?
2. What is the picture all about?
3. Give at least five things you’ve seen in the picture and what is your idea
about it?
4. How can you manage your waste materials?

A. Identification
Directions: Read the situations given below, and then choose which technique is best to
be used in each situation from the word-bank.

Now you have learned from our discussion, and it’s time to apply what you know. Choose one
task to perform at home.
Option 1. Write an open letter about five sentences long addressing the public about the
proper waste management and proper segregation involving 5R’s Techniques. Your letter
must also show an appeal to government officials to take some actions about this.
Option 2. Conduct a garage sale by making an inventory of your unused materials that can
still be reused and sold. Ask your family members to contribute. Organize all the things you
gathered in an open clean space. Start selling your items.
