1.2 Goals/Objective
 .The reservation system needs to benefit customers by
being easy to use and offering an adequate degree of
predictability and flexibility for all customers.
 The vehicle reservation system needs to benefit
communities by reducing the negative impacts of queuing
outside terminals.
 Allowing VRS customers and local residents to access local
businesses, and by reducing conflicts.
 The vehicle reservation system needs to benefit by
recognizing the unique circumstances of its different routes,
helping the agency manage demand, improving asset
utilization, and responding to legislative direction.

2.0 Project Scope

Several scopes have been outlined in order to achieve the

objective of the project. The main scope of this project is to develop an
application for vehicle reservation. The main users of this project are the director,
the customer will be able to use the application to perform their reserving ticket
transaction anywhere and at anytime.

2.1 Deliverables

It can view all the vehicle list in one click.

It can automate expenses
Reports queries are available on screens
Reservation detail are complete and organized

2.2 Out of Scope/Limitation

The scope of this review is limited by the availability of literature and

time. As a broad study,

Limitation

It does not present the full range of literature but attempts to give an
overview of the main concerns and improvements.

3.1Approach and Methodology

System Planning
This is where the proponents scheme for the development system and
using the steps that will be produce will be easily to identify the problem and all
the details need of the developer to determine the process of the existing system.

System Analysis

In this stage the proponents decide a roadmap for the plan that have
produce and to bring up the best model suitable for the development of this
project. This where the researchers analyze the whole process of the existing
system of the establishment to determine the problems that might occur and
encounter during its operation.

System Design

In this stage is where the proponents decide on what kind of path will
the proposed system shall follow while developing the system itself. Create a

roadmap to what kind of system can develop to encompass the existing system
of the establishment and meet the clients standard.

System Implementation

This phase, some design and other user activity part can change as per
customer’s need. This phase will test the affectivity of the software product if this
will work and meet the requirements and needs of the client.

System Maintenance

The system operation, support and maintenance are aiming to

incessantly satisfy the needs of the client by maintaining the operation and the
support of the system inside the business transaction. In order to support and
operate the proposed system the Vehicle Reservation System.

3.2 Success Criteria

 By the use of the proposed system the problems that has been
illustrated above have been reduce of better had been
eliminated.
 Easy to process request.
 The system can centralized database helps in avoiding conflicts.
 Can generates required reports easily.
 Implementation of approval process is very easy.
 Easy to use GUI that does not requires specific training.
 The system can track and locate vehicles at a time.

3.3 Issues & Policy Implications

Vehicle cannot be reserved for extended periods by any

departments, including for a academic course work and fieldtrips the driver
and reserving party are responsible to pay in the case of collision damage.

Failure to return the vehicle on time will result in loss of vehicle reserving
privileges.

3.4 Risk and Management Plan

Risk Impact Probability Action Plan

Calamity Keeping ready at all times,
H H to avoid casualties or
injuries

Passenger H M The complete list of

Budget H H Making a list, to

and prevent error.
Driver Fatigue M M

Time and cost H L Manage of all this and

overruns things being constant.

3.5 Service Transition

It has a unique characteristics that affect how reservations will be

implemented. The analysis suggest that a reservation system has described in
the business rules would be work best.

3.6 Option Analysis

(SDLC)

Brainstorm
This steps onwards the software development works to carry on the project.
Design

Page 6
Agile design are emergent, they’re not defined up front. System design
will emerge over time, evolving to fulfill new requirements and take advantage as
appropriate.

Development

It is an approach to software development under which requirements

and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self organizing and cross
functional

Quality Assurance

This phase confirms the software operation in terms of more efficiency

and less errors.

Deployment

It is to estimate roughly which features will be delivered by the release

deadline.
