The RUGGED MIL SYSTEM is based on ATR chassis.
Sizes: ½, ¾, 1, 1½ - ATR
This System combines the strength and resistance with the
usability and flexibility of a standard system, in a very compact
design.

ƒ Low weight, ideal for applications where the weight is critical
ƒ MIL 38999 type power connector
ƒ 3U/6U VPX, CPCI, VME or VXS backplanes available
ƒ VITA 62 Power Supply with 250W to 400W
ƒ Excellent cooling from 6 high performance fans (12 V DC)

RUGGED System Solution

The RUGGED System Solution is based on a 19‘‘ chassis.
The dimensions are according to the PICMG and VITA
Specification, but the System is most rugged as possible.
This System combines the strength and resitance of an
ATR System with the usability of a 19‘‘ standard system, in
a very compact design.

ƒ Complete Aluminum Chassis with a minimum thickness of 2.5 mm
ƒ According to MIL Standard 810F, ruggedized Level 4
ƒ very robust and strong construction, IEEE1101.10
ƒ Easy to change filter- and fan-tray
ƒruggedized cabel connection
ƒ excellent cooling with max. 3 + 3 fans (push / pull; each with 53 CFM)
ƒ made for OpenVPX, VME64x, CompactPCI and customized solutions
ƒ optional Shelf Manager with remote on/off by Ethernet
ƒ opitional plug in Power supplies for AC (90 – 230V) or DC (18 – 36V)
ƒ optional rugged Aluminum card guides for all slots
