A renowned firm is looking for a Reservoir Geoscientist.

Requirements :
15+ years of industry experience
10 years in Development / production
Experience of reservoir characterization tools and concepts.
Experience in both conventional and unconventional (CBM and shale gas).
Ability to perform analysis, interpretation and problem solving at all levels of complexity with varying volumes of data is required.
Ability to work with a geographically dispersed virtual team is required. This will include the recognition of the need for regular inter-continental
travel.
Understanding the importance of company values and work policies is required.
Technical Expertise and Experience
Experience of acquisition, processing and interpretation applied at the reservoir level (SMT, Petrel)
Experience in reservoir characterization including model building, scale-up and simulation. (SMT, Petrel)
Well log correlation, litho- and chrono-stratigraphic interpretation, petrophysical estimation of reservoir parameters (porosity, permeability, fluid
phase saturation), core and cuttings description, sampling, testing procedures, geomechanics, data management, handling and display of digital files,
and analysis, planning, selection, and specification of well logging programmes
Experience in Exploration: familiarity with exploration workflows, data acquisition techniques, prospect maturation workflows.

Understanding of digital integration of geoscience interpretation and static modelling is required. Kingdom and Petrel expertise is desirable.
Experience in reservoir management and development, and full field development studies is required
Knowledge of gridding and contouring methods, geostatistical analysis, geodetic data would be an advantage
