A. Reviewing previous lesson or 4 PICTURES-1 PROCEDURE

(Review) Mechanics:
1. Form 4 groups of pupils.
2. The teacher flashes pictures using the PowerPoint presentation.
3. The groups are given 10 seconds to identify what procedure is shown by the pictures.
4. One member of each group simultaneously writes the answer in the metacard.
5. The teacher checks the answer.
6. The group with the most number of correct answer wins.

2. In two minutes learners need to find the hidden words related to health.
3. Use a marker to encircle the hidden words.
4. Groups will post their work on the board.

Do they play an important part in our community?

1. Obstetrician – specialist in caring for the mother before, during and immediately after birth.
2. Gynecologist - specialist in women’s condition and diseases, especially of the female
reproductive system.
3. Pediatrician - specialist in health and illness of children.
4. Ophthalmologist - specialist in treating eye conditions and diseases.
5. Neurologist - specialist in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system.
6. Psychiatrist - specialist in the treatment of mental and emotional condition and disorders.
7. Gerontologist - specialist for the aged and elderly
8. Surgeon - performs surgical related cases.
9. Nephrologist - specialist to the disorder of the kidney.
10. Podiatrist - specialist various feet related diseases.
