Briefly describe what will happen DURING the SRT activity:

This activity requires ipads for each of the students. This activity is student paced but it should only take
about 15 minutes. The activity will start with me informing the students about the game we will play. If the
students are not familiar, I will go over a quick tutorial on how Kahoot! Works. We will be playing as a team.
Each of the students will get an ipad and return to their seats. I will pull up the code on the board and the

Right/Wrong answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions?
☒ Yes ☐ No
☐ Mixed (Some will have correct answers, other will not.)
Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all of the questions and
display correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
☒ Yes
☐ No
Why or why not?
The students need to know what they got wrong so they can study more on that aspect.
Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
After the SRT activity we will go over the answers as a class.
How will the data be used?
I will take note of the questions that were most popularly missed and be sure to go over this information
again but maybe in a different way this time to make sure they learn it. I will also take note if a student failed
and talk to them one on one to make sure they are getting what they need to succeed and learn in my
classroom.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.
I hope to learn how Kahoot! Affects student learning. I am hoping that the kids will learn well from the activity
because it is interactive and uses technology.
Reflective Practice:
I feel like this activity will help students practice for upcoming tests and realize what curriculum they need to
study more. To further extend the lesson I could have the students work in groups to create there own
questions to put on the Kahoot!. These questions could be things they feel like they have not mastered or
questions they just want to learn more about.
