Reflections:

An employee is a person who works to have an income, they work as a full-time, part-time, or
maybe a temporary worker on a business. Employees work on their specific tasks, their
specialization or maybe on where they are assigned by their employer/manager. They manage
their time between work, family, peers, and self. They have to work to sustain and to have
money for their own benefits and/or for their family. Life on employees may not be as easy as
we think that it would be, they are the ones who represent an organization, a group, or maybe a
business. Without the employees, there’s no such thing as a business, because what’s the
purpose of having a manager/employer/CEO if there are no people who helps run a business. We
can never run a business with a zero-employee, because we also have our own work to do, this
makes us to accept and have an employee in our business. Having an employee, it makes our
business grow and expand easily. For me, it is better to lose a manager rather than its employee.
Why? Because a manager can easily be replaced, while an employee cannot, because each one of
those employees that’s helping run a business has its own unique characteristic which can have
a great impact to the business.

I have learned that being an employee requires hardwork, especially if you only work here in the
Philippines. For me, it's such a challenge to have a job. Because having a job means having duty
and responsibility to your work. In the Profood Intl. Corp., I have learned that the more efficient
you'll do in your work, the bigger your salary is. And I also learned that having a job that has a
salary of not that big is quite hard. Because you have to budget your money for
food,water,electricity, rent and etc.  And also the standard salary in our country is also not
enough. That's why even though Filipinos are hardworking our economy is not great. There was
an article saying that we should enhance our skills so that we can have a better job.

As we are having our observation study tour, I observe that the employees are suffering there
time for family into work. Yep they are so hardworking person. They need to work for the salary,
salary for the education of there children. They need to finish many for a bigger and better salary.
Like the industry of “ Profoods “ they have many employees for millions of products that they
need to finish in a day. It is hard for them, but they need to do it for there family. We cannot
stand for the word “ family first” because the job is for there family. When someone get tired
and got a rest, it means that he/she has no family to carry on. They sacrifice for love of there
family. Love sacrifices time

As i observed, the life of an employee is a very hard task. They need to work for their family and
for their selves in order to survive and they work every single day. The are that they earn is not
that they need to work hard everyday. I learned that we should value everything in world, that
every things that we see we made of us. That thing is a work of a hardworking woman or man,
we should value and not just throw it away because it is like we just not appreciate the little
doings of the employees. As i observed of the employees, they are full of sweats, and that sweats
means determination and hardwork, they sacrifice their time to satisfy the need of their family.

 I observed that the employees were assigned
into tasks that they mastered or good at. I
was impressed when I saw the employees at
Profood especially the dried mango
production center.They have to be always
productive for their salary depends on how
many mangoes they have sliced. It made me
realize that they aren't even complaining
while I always complain about little things. I
also observed that they have to manage their
time wisely while I always cram. They are
strict in being clean, they need to wear
masks, gloves etc. especially because they are
producing food products while sometimes I
eat without proper washing. They need to be
honest even if others are not, others will not
and even if others cannot while I am addicted
to lying. As I was observing the employees, I
can relate them to us students that
 everytime we are inside the gates of a place
called school we have to have these traits to
gain something and once we go out we feel
relieved that we finished the day and then
we prepare and ready ourselves for the next
challenging day. I salute the employees not
only the ones we have visited but to all.
Employees who are fully engaged in the
companies they work make up all of their
tine for the workforce. Employees want to
balance work with he rest of the activities
they wish to pursue in life. Employers are
not responsible for providing work balance
for their employees but they can assist
the employees to seek and maintain their
own work balance.Optimistically, the
decisions, policies, values and expectations
in the workplace support employess in
their work life balance choices. Sponsor
employee and family events and activity
monthly to encourage team building
friendship among the employees. The
relationships and friendships that
employees build, encourage them to stay
with the company and in the region.
Dedication and commitment to their work
are the tools in order for them to stay
longer and earn a living. They work hard
for the sake of their family. Most
employees work hard for promotion and
earn bigger income.  Their life as employee
lead them to be strong and adjust
everything just for their future and family.

For me the life of the employees revolves much on their jobs. Their jobs affect their health,
status, and well being. For me the community life of employees focuses on their groups of
specialty. They tend to find their own community in their community. So they may tend to
find Individualism amongst them. So employees may have more time on their community
rather than their family and friends because they may spend more time doing their jobs. So
simply saying an employee's community is their workmates. They make the population of a
buisness. Without them a buisness can suffer loss of manpower. So concluding the things
stated the employees are really important

They also do outreach programs to reach out from those who are not capble of buying
themselves what they need. In this kind of things, I learned that in this world full of malice and
chaos, there are still others who would want to reach so that they can help those who are in
need. This act can be an example to others especially us- the millenials because nowadays, we
often discriminate those people whom we have met along the way. Like the beggars in the
street. So, we should be responsible enough to help them and not to just neglect them.

My reflection about the community life of an employee is it brings both positive and negative
effects. It is not easy for an employee to fit his/ her self to a specific job. One of its negative
effects is it is very hard, and tiring at the same time. Knowing that it is crucial for them to
use their entire force just to earn a little amount of money, that is not enough for their
family and daily expenses. But,despite from its negative effects is it also contributes to a
positive one. One of that is they are given a chance to have a work. It lessens the
unemployement rate in our society wherein it is one of the common problems of our
government. One of its benefits is it helps in the stabilility and balance of our economy. It also
promote variety of filipino made products. I learned a lot in their community life and it
prepares me to choose what field I should enter in the future.

 I learned that in our life, we have to always
believe in ourselves. Especially since we are
almost graduating and in a few more years,
we'll be in college, we have to think of a job.
And by thinking of jobs, we also have to
consider our talents. Being an employee
doesn't just mean about you getting a
salary every month, but it also means that
you can enhance yourself more. As what I
can observe during this study tour, we
should always be attentive and have a plan
ready for us to be prepared for what is
going to happen. Maybe we don't have a plan
yet, but we can still consider the little things
we can do. The most important thing that I
learned is that we should always keep in
mind that we are not anymore little kids
running around the playground. But instead,
we should try to work hard even it isn't for
ourselves. Since we are still in junior high
school, we can practice that by doing well in
school. Industry work isn't easy, but still we
can't just be doing nothing. To manage our
work, we have to consider that most
important thing which is time.
Lent is the season of renewal – the time
set aside for us to direct our focus inward
to see how we are called to grow and turn
away from our old ways. Throughout
scripture we hear that God calls us to a
new life, one that more closely resembles
the life Jesus led. Community living is one
of the best places to practice these
actions. The longer we live in community,
the more we are able to put our guards
down, and this is when we start to get
real with one another. Of course, this is a
good thing. You cannot build authentic
intentional community without an
atmosphere of trust and acceptance;
however, this also may mean that the
politeness that eased your transition to
community living may be somewhat
lacking. You might find that your patience
is beginning to run thin, laziness is setting
in, and your words to one another are
becoming a little less guarded.  Therefore,
it also makes sense that community living
can become quite a bit more challenging
around this time.

Employees make an important role in our community. They contribute to the country's progress
by working on companies or factories that sustain the needs or wants of the people. Imagine a
community without manpower, it would be so hard to do a big job by yourself. A not profitable
and not progressive company you'll/we'll have. Employees,could be us in the future, work for our
community and the community also gives us an exchange for work. Employees also receive money
from the people who buy products from the company they are working with. The community life
of the employees is not that easy as what I had observed in the factory/company that we had
visited. Each of them should be skillful enough to do the work in a day. I had witnessed how fast
they peel and slice mangoes in the Profoods Manufacturing Company. I can imagine the effort it
takes for them to do the the job just to serve the best products for the people. We should not look
down on normal or ordinary employees because without them, there would be no company,no
business or even a manager that will lead.

 Employees are really important in our community. Unemployment is one of the issues in
our country.It greatly affects the life of the people.Being an employee is not an easy job.They
need to work hard to earn salary, even if it is small. They work for hours , sometimes even
longer, just so they can provide the needs of their family. Determination and hard work is
one of the best traits they have.They are determined to do they work.Sometimes they lack
sleep because of working too much. Employees are one of the important people in a
community they help in keeping our country productive and they strive hard to satisfy the
needs of their family and their own, so we must learn to appreciate the contribution they
have done in our country.

Employees,they are persons employed for wages or salary,especially at non-executive
level.Companies need them to enlarge their man power so that their business will be fruitful
in the near future.They are the ones who earn money for their family.To satisfy their needs,to
make their lives comfortable and to improve our economy but the real point is do we know
their life in their workplaces? Are they satisfied or not?

As of what I've seen there in our tour ,I think that they aren't ,they wont mind it already for
they will do everything just to sprinkle water over their hungry flowers waiting for them. As
Filipinos,it is our culture of not giving up,we will suffer everything,our time,sweat,blood and
even life. I salute to all employees for what they have gone through is not that easy.They have
fought many monsters in in the enormous seas and the  growling tigers of the jungle just to
reach the highest peak of success.No matter how harsh life is, just remember to stand up
when you fall down and darkness only exist so you can see the stars shine

Employers are the one who gain more effort and hard work for the good of their family and of
course for themselves. . They work not just to present their rank as a high, but as an individual
to present the creativity of every Filipinos doing the contribution progress by working in factories
and companies. They are the one who aims what they want to do,because as you work on a
company or factory it is not easy to stand just by yourselves, doing your best and not be the
best can help you sustain the economy of your country. As you begin the stage of being an
employee, you only have the limited time for your family and friends. But as you work hard, you
can make your family as an inspiration, a blessing to God because working without inspiration is
living a life without a light. As you decide to walk on the next step God gave us the help to
achieve our dreams in life, through hard work and effort we gave, God is all our inspiration to do
that.
