CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF SENIOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE/

PROJECT ASSOCIATE FOR SOLAR THERMAL PROJECT OF ONGC ENERGY CENTRE

ONGC Energy Centre (OEC) wishes to invite applications from bright, young enthusiastic
engineering/science pass out from reputed institutes of the country, for fixed tenure project
assignment under “Solar Thermal Project” of ONGC Energy Centre. The details of the
vacancies are as under:

Position: Senior Project Associate/ Project Associate

No. of Vacancy: 01; Selection of the candidate for any one of the aforementioned post
will be done on the basis of suitability, performance and experience of the candidate.

Eligibility:
Essential Qualification for Project Associate: M.Tech./ equivalent in Energy/Renewable
Engineering +2 years’ experience in Solar Thermal energy domain OR B.Tech./ equivalent in
Mechanical/ Energy/ Renewable Engineering +4 years’ experience in Solar Thermal energy
domain

Essential Qualification for Senior Project Associate: M.Tech./ equivalent in Energy/

Renewable Engineering +6 years’ experience in Solar Thermal energy domain OR B.Tech./
equivalent in Mechanical/ Energy/ Renewable Engineering +8 years’ experience in Solar
Thermal energy domain

Terms of Engagement: The duration of initial engagement of Project Associate is 1 year,

followed by yearly extension or renewal, if required, subject to a maximum duration of 4 years
and the total duration of engagement of Senior Project Associate will be two years, which
may be extended by one more year, at the same remuneration, subject of the requirement of
the Project, Satisfactory Performance of the candidate and on specific request/consent of the
candidate.

Place of Posting: Delhi and/or the Project Site at Mehsana

Compensation:

Project Associate: The budgetary requirement for Project Associate will be Rs. 8.1 Lakhs
per annum (Fixed Pay: Rs. 6,48,000/- & Variable Pay, depending on the performance:
Rs. 1,62,000/-). This amount will be enhanced to Rs. 9.9 Lakhs per annum after two years.
It may further be mentioned that any candidate having more than 4 years’ experience after
M.Tech or more than 6 years’ experience after B. Tech, may be engaged at an initial

remuneration of Rs.9.9. Lakhs per annum, if found suitable for higher compensation, based
on the specific recommendations of the Selection Committee.

Senior Project Associate: The budgetary requirement for Senior Project Associate will be
Rs.11.4 Lakhs per annum (Fixed Pay: Rs. 9,12,000/- & Variable Pay, depending on the
performance: Rs. 2,28,000/-).

Selection Process: Applicants will be considered through a two tier selection procedure i.e.
screening of Application Formats, followed by Interview of Short listed candidates.

Timeline: Successful candidates will have to join duty within 30 days from receipt of
Engagement Letter, failing which the offer may be withdrawn.

Reimbursement of Travel Fare: The outstation candidates called for interview shall be
reimbursed 2nd A/C to & fro Rail fare on submission of actual rail tickets. It may be mentioned
that if the information regarding particulars and experience of the candidate is found to be
false at the time of interview, then reimbursement shall not be done by ONGC Energy Centre.

Energy Centre Trust is purely temporary in nature and has no bearing with any employment

Incomplete Applications, applications not in OEC Format and applications received after the
