THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT IN OUR SCOPE

 All civil related works

 Steel Staging Including Steel footings & all civil related works has to be made ready by you (client). We
will provide, drawing for the steel staging on placement of your (client) P.O. if required.
 Plumbing & Piping are not in our scope.
 Nozzles/Flanges for inlet, outlet, overflow & drain. However, holes can be drilled on our panels for fixing
the nozzles at site.
 Flot/Level switches, Level gauge, name plate, level transmitter, Level indicator
 Supply of electricity for drilling & Water for testing of tank.

ERRECTION OF THE TANK

We will be furnishing to you guidelines for foundation & staging. You (client) will have to prepare the final
detailed construction drawings keeping in mind the wind load, soil characteristics, site condition etc. We will
also be giving you guidelines for Grillage. You shall have to prepare the Grillage strictly as per the guidelines
given by us.

In addition, we will be giving you the check-list which will have to be suitably filled in and sent to us for
verifying the readiness of the site for undertaking assembling of the tank.

You can also carry-out erection of the tank through your own team of workmen. If desired by you, we can
depute our site engineer/supervisor at extra cost. The quotation for carrying out supervision work is being
submitted separately.

GUARANTEE

The various components going into assembly of SMC Panel Tank are guaranteed for a period of 12 months
from the date of bill against manufacturing defects.

If any material found defect. the same will be replaced free of cost within guarantee period. After guarantee
period, any replacement, labour and transport will be on chargeable basis.

The assembled panel tank, however, can perform differently due to several factors such as faulty foundation,
staging, grillage etc. The problems arising out of such factors shall be totally excluded from this guarantee.

OUR LIABILITY UNDER THIS GUARANTEE WILL BE RESTRICTED TO

 Repair of the items found to be defective at site or at our factory at our option

 Replacement of items found beyond repair provided the defective items are sent to works at your cost.

THE GUARANTEE SHALL SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDE THE FOLLOWING

 Defects arising out of the faults in the foundation, staging, grillage etc. as built/fabricated by you.
 Defects arising out of the failure of the foundation, staging, grillage etc. or in their various
Elements/constitution
 Problems arising out of the environmental, climatic and other factors being different from the ones
mentioned in the “check-list for erection” as submitted by you.
 Misuse or abuse of the components of the tank or the assembled tank by you.
 Consequential or allied losses or damages to you.
 The total liability under this guarantee will and never exceed net ex-works value of the components found
defective.


