Summary:
The continues growth in numbers of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) is the reason why our
country, the Philippines are left behind in terms of industrial progress. Most of our engineers,
information technology programmers, doctors and other professionals and skilled workers are
working for other country instead of helping un in developing our own country.

This opinion editorial discusses about the economic development that happened in the process of
globalization and focus on the industrial problem of the Philippines locally.

Summary:
Globalization as of 20th and 21st centuries was rapidly moving forward that almost covers every
aspect of the human life. But even thought it developed constantly a lot of different countries
experience uneven results. Globalization is creating wealth, but there are too many countries and
people who are not having benefits from it.

Economic, social and cultural aspect of the globalization are being discusses in this editorial. It
talks about the changes that happened in the different countries that are being part of the
globalization globally.

Summary:
Globalization also talks about culture. It is undeniable that globalization can and has and will
diminish or destroy certain cultures, traditions and enterprises. Yet as one of the parts of it, we are
not powerless in our response, whether as creators or consumers. Indeed, it also presents a
tremendous opportunity for cultural diversity.

This editorial topics about the cultural changes that might happened during the process of
globalization in all the countries that are part of it globally. It also gives the idea, that we, as part
of this event, has the choice to preserve our culture.
