Problem Statement
In order to attain the goal of the project first is to solve the problem on its own network; a headquarters that can
give its full service to produced more information from different categories of News and Information given to the public
(e.g. politics, entertainment, current events, etc.). next is a development that would expand its source of news,
delivering it to people faster, reliable and continuous. In addition to the development of the project commercial and
office space that would set as an economic development of the network. these spaces have an access on live broadcast
of news and report while inside the building on-air to their channel station. In addition to, a training spaces for their
upcoming and for development of their worker. And also place for tours and activities for the students and other people
who wants to experience news forecasting.
However, the existing network building of the project in the Philippines is located inside a mix-used building in
Mandaluyong City, with one Studio wherein news and other programs are being held and all programs and being
compressed. it is only limited to broadcast program on air and in time. And CNN Philippines still don’t have an existing
headquarters or building that would operate faster and gather news live in action. A facility that can operate different
programs about daily updates and other reliable sources for the audience.
The proposal tends to create own CNN Network Headquarters here in the Philippines to expand the existing office to
provide Filipino people a better source of news, sensible information and other possible information that can give to
the Filipino people. A place where curious people can experience and see the behind the scene on how news reports
and other programs are being televised, a place where they can train good reporters that can deliver the right report.
And lastly a place wherein public people can walk around, eat and shop but at the same time they can see or hear the
latest news update happening.

1.2. Project Objective

To develop the importance of giving people a reliable and trusted information about the current event in the Philippines
and even outside the country the knowledge of every Filipinos on what is happening on the daily life. This is to enhance
the information that every Filipinos should know. Also provide job opportunities to other journalist and researchers. To
training for journalist and researchers to enhance their skills in communication and data gathering.

1.3. Assumption
CNN Philippines is the Philippines’ only predominantly English-language channel on free-to-air television. It
is also available on cable and pay television. CNN Philippines TV channel to deliver a true, multi-platform experience
for the Filipino audience. Our aim is to create content that is engaging and accessible, covering local and international
news and information.

1.4. Project Scope and Limitation

The proposed CNN center focused on the development of telecommunication and broadcasting building of
CNN Philippines in the country. This is to provide a network information and newsgathering power of CNN here in the
Philippines, and to offer Filipino viewer a global perspective on key issues and trending stories from around the world
not only in local stories.
