Juniore Seminar- Introduction/ Lec01
The National Junior Seminar is an
opportunity for Juniors from across the
country to meet and take part in a thorough
educational program.

It is the teacher s job to moderate the

discussion instead of leading the discussion.

What will the Juniors be doing exactly?

During the course of the weekend, the Juniors

will be attending educational with free time in
between. In addition to the educational and free
periods during the day, a "night activity" is

The management and arrangement : e.g. the
juniors are divided into three age groups:
1. Younger,
2. Middle and
3. Older.
Each cabin consists of twelve Juniors from one
age group. With them are two assigned
counselors for the cabin.

As example you can say, everyone needs to
bring clothes for both warm and cold weather (it
gets chilly at night)! Toiletries for showering, a
sleeping bag and rain gear--just in case.

fundraising to defray costs of transportation.

Experimental protocol for determining the chromium content in
Eucalyptus bark samples:
The bark was grounded to small particles of size 120 < dp < 500 m.
To avoid, the release of color by bark in to the aqueous solution during
adsorption, it was treated with formaldehyde.
The final mixture was stirred and heated at 50 C for 24 48h.
The slurry was washed with deionized water, followed by air dried and
sieved.
Stock solution of 1000ppm of Cr(VI) was prepared by dissolving
K2Cr2O7, in deionised distilled water.
All the batch adsorption studies were carried out using 100mL
synthetic of solution.
The bottles were placed in a shaker at 320C, for 24 h.
Then the content of the bottles was filtered through a filter paper.
The filtrate was analyzed for pH and final chromium concentration
