“Welcome to Fête”
Greenville Light Opera

Welcome!

November is my favorite month of the year. Longer and cooler nights allow me to wear my cardigans.
Veterans Day and Thanksgiving give me license to be sappy. And having a birthday means I’m on the
right side of the grass. This month is all about being thankful, grateful and appreciative.

Enter The Great Fête Christmas Give-Away by going to page 7 and click through to have a chance at
over $600 in gift cards and tickets!

A native of Greenville, Ric Standridge has left his mark in this

community as the Founder of South Carolina Children’s Theatre and
as a Recruiting Director for the SC Governor’s School for the Arts.

His paintings have been exhibited in countless galleries throughout

the Southeast and his works are highly sought after by both private
and corporate collectors.

Standridge continues to explore new avenues of expression. Ric

states, “That each painting is a synthesis of the varied cultural
influences that have shaped my own consciousness. These
influences are entered into my paintings; the order and the complexity
that results is intended to convey a simple message: reverence for life
and the human form and spirit”.
