STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

1. The accuracy of distance

measurement in different target materials
using total station with prism and
reflector less mode of a total station.
1. a. Hardwood,
1. b. Concrete,
1. c. Steel, and
1. d. Reflective Tape.
2.Whether the difference in distance
measurement between total station and
target material, with prism and with surface
materials, is more or less than the permitted
99% confidence level.
3.Whether the obtained distance
measurements from different materials are
conforming to the accuracy specified by the
manufacturer to verify the stated accuracy
over a range of distances.
CHAPTER III
Now, let's move on to CHAPTER III, wherein this chapter
focuses on Data Presentation, Analysis and
Interpretation.

Basically, the following diagrams were based from the

floated questionnaires among 30% selected geodetic
engineers government and private practive here in
Baguio City.

First diagram talks about "RESPONDENTS ON HOW

LONG THEY HAVE BEEN PRACTICING IN THE
PROFESSION OF GEODETIC ENGINEERNG".
Most of them are practicing their profession for almost
21-30 years. This will be significant in accessing their
knowledge and expertise in the field of GE.
Second diagram talks about their usage of total station
Out of 15 respondents, 87% are using total station in
performing land surveys while 13% are using RTK.

3rd digram deals on "what brand and model of total

station they are using."
This question seeks to determine the least commonly
total station by the Geodetic Engineers.

However, the time frame and the number of

experiments that were planned delimited the
instrument of investigation and due to the
unavailability of the unusual used brands of total
stations, this study focuses on Hi-Target (ZTS-320R)
Total Station.

4th diagram is established to know the most commonly

used target surfaces in observing inaccessible point.
