INSTRUCTIONS

1. All candidates will reach the Alliance Française de Chandigarh, Next to Hibiscus Garden,
Sector 36A, Chandigarh, by 07.00 am sharp. NO ENTRY after 07.15 am will be allowed.
Students living far from Chandigarh are advised to come one day before to Chandigarh and
locate the Alliance Française in order to avoid coming late on the day of the exam. Please
bring a photo ID proof in original.

NO ENTRY WILL BE ALLOWED IF LATE

2. The exam will begin with Production orale (speaking). The ‘production orale’ will finish at about
12.00 pm, after which the candidates are free till 12.40 pm. You can bring drinking water
and a snack to eat while waiting for your turn.
3. The written exam will be held in the Alliance Française de Chandigarh. All candidates
must return to Alliance Française at 12.40 pm sharp. Kindly keep your ID proof in original
with you. You will be asked to show it at every stage.
4. Lists for seating arrangement for the written exam will be pasted in the entrance hall of the
Alliance, outside the library, doors of the cafeteria, art gallery, basement & classrooms.
Kindly check your name on the list before sitting for the exam and respect the seating
arrangement as you have to sign the attendance sheet. Candidates going to the wrong hall
will not be allowed in.
5. During oral comprehension the students must maintain complete silence for better
understanding.
6. For the oral and written exam the candidate will sign attendance sheets. Any error in name /
surname / date of birth / place of birth must be corrected in the attendance sheets. Please do
not overwrite. Strike off the incorrect information and rewrite the correct one.
7. The duration of the exam is 1 hour 20 minutes.
8. USE OF MOBILE PHONES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the examination hall. It is
advisable not to bring your mobile phone the day of the exam for if the mobile phone of a
candidate rings or vibrates in the hall, the answer paper of the candidate will be taken by the
supervising team and he/ she will be asked to leave the hall immediately. Therefore, do not
bring your the mobile phone or keep it in SWITCHED OFF mode.
9. Students are not allowed to communicate with each other during the exam. Any student
found talking to another student will be asked to leave the hall.
10. Students must answer the paper using only BLUE PEN or BLACK PEN. Papers
answered using a pencil will not be checked.
DELF A2: TUESDAY 12 JUIN 2018
