COURSE DESCRIPTION :

Economic Analysis is an uptick from the basic economics class delving deeper from the classical
models and instruments to new theories in macroeconomics and microeconomics: and their
interrelations. This course also introduces the importance of economic research and applications
esp. in cases of institutions, development, taxes and other timely issues of the country and the
world.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

 Expound on the reviewed basic economic models on supply-demand, elasticity and PPF
 Use advanced economic models to make sound economic decisions applied on examinations,
oral discussions/recitations and research work
 Appreciation and application of economic journals and the pursuit of relevant economic
articles as a must and skill to guide as factors in economic and business decisions.
 Develop critical thinking on how economic signals interact inter-relationally and applied in
relevant issues through class discussion and debate activities: also to practice and improve
speech skills.
