User manual (purely indicative) for UG Medical and Dental WB State Quota and Private Management
Quota counseling 2019
The qualified candidates through NEET UG 2019 and eligible to participate in WB State Quota and /or Private Management Quota
UG Medical and Dental seats in 2019 as indicated by the eligible lists published on 03-07-2019 in the website www.wbmcc.nic.in , are
to log in to the following website www.wbmcc.nic.in :-
The candidate has to click the button “UG Medical Counseling” then the following web page will appear:-

The candidate has to click the menu “Candidate Login” then the following web page will appear:-

Note down the key features as stated in the webpage.

The candidate has to click the menu “New User Registration after payment”

The new user has to fill up the blank boxes exactly as per NEET UG 2019 application form
After filling up the details and putting the security pin that appears, the candidate has to click “Submit” button

The candidate has to sign the agreement in the webpage as appears and to click the button “I Agree” and then to click the menu
“Click here to proceed” for further activity.

The details furnished by the candidates during the fees payment like mailing address, emails ID, mobile no are depicted. They are
not changeable now.
The candidate has to select a security question from the available ones as shown below:-

One of the questions has to be selected by the candidate and the relevant answer to be typed in the below box of Security Answer.
The candidate has to select password as per password policy depicted below in the screen shot

The password must be typed and confirmed again in the relevant boxes and then the Submit button to be clicked. Password must not
be forgotten and shall not be shared by the candidate. If any mischief occurs due to sharing of password by the candidate, then
neither NIC nor WBMCC Dept. of H and FW Govt. of WB shall be held responsible.


Read the message and cross the message box.

If all the shown details are OK then click the button “Confirm Registration”

Click the confirm button once again in the Confirm Registration Box. After this the candidate cannot change any credentials.

The registration slip is thus generated. This must be taken a print out of so that it can be used in future communication if required.

The candidate can directly go to the login page from Registration page by clicking the link “Click here to Login”
The candidate now puts Roll No and password in the “Registered User Sign in” portion and clicks the Login box.

The current status of the candidate is shown as unlocked with no choices filled.
Cross the box out

The registration details can be seen by clicking on the menu Registration details in the left column

Similarly by clicking the choices available one can see the available choices at his/her caste or domicile status or percentile rank in
NEET UG 2019 as the case may be.

The candidate can choose MBBS and BDS both but one at a time and then arrange the choices as per wish from top to bottom.

The choices once selected in the left box will be added one after another in the right basket. Here as the candidate is of SC category
and below 50 percentile rank so cannot view and fill choices for Management quota seats.

The choices in right basket can be moved up and down as required by clicking the relevant arrow keys as shown.

Single deletion of the choices can also be done by clicking the deletion basket as shown
Click the button confirm.

Always after keeping choices in the basket click the button “Save & Continue “to save the choices. The choices must be saved else
they will not be considered for allotment by the computer.


Choice interchange is depicted in the following pictures as below

Click the button interchange after selecting the options to be interchanged.


After selecting combination of MBBS and BDS seats (as shown below) the candidate now arranges them as per wish. Please do not
select the choices which you do not want to join. Once allotted, the candidate has to join the allotted seat else he/she will be out of
the counseling process.

Always click save & continue button after doing some step to save the choice.

Multiple deletions are also possible as per following steps in pictures depicted:-
Check the items as required. Can uncheck if required as well.

Click the button “Delete Checked Items”

Click the confirm button as before for confirming multiple deletions.


Once the choices are settled and during the choice locking period, the candidate can lock his/her choices:
Once locked the candidate cannot unlock the choices. The locked choices will only be processed for allotment. If the candidate fails to
lock the choices then the system will auto lock after the choice filling and locking period is over as per server time.

Put the password in the relevant box and click “Lock my Choices”

Click the box “Yes, please do”

Print out of locked choices can now be taken by the candidate. No change in the choice is permitted after locking.


Click the button “Yes I Agree” then the Print option appears.

Take the print out for future use.

After re login the candidate will see that the status is locked.

Forgot password option:-
Click to the menu Forgot password if password is forgotten

Authenticate yourself as shown below:-
