Principles of Marketing
Grade - 11

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students are able to:
a) Define and identify the different traditional marketing approaches;
b) Reflect on the importance of marketing campaign in the business sectors;
c) Create a short example of marketing approaches.

II. Subject Matter


Topic: Traditional Marketing Approaches and Marketing Campaign
Materials: Laptop, Chalk Board, Pictures

III. Procedure
i. Motivation
 (Group activity)
 Students will be group into five
 Each group will have cut papers to arrange
 A group representative will prepare a short description or
understanding about the picture

ii. Lesson Proper


 Define Traditional Marketing
 Identify the different kinds of marketing approaches
 Site examples of traditional approaches that you have encountered
 Define Marketing campaign and its importance
iii. Abstraction
 Allow students to analyze the different traditional marketing
approaches and the impact of marketing campaign in the marketing
industry
iv. Application
 Student will be group into five
 Each group will create their own example of marketing approaches
advertising a certain product.

Performance 40 %
Impact 40%
Team work 20%
TOTAL 100%

v. Assessment
 Different Pictures will be posted in the screen or 3 seconds
 The task is to identify the kind of marketing approach used in the
advertisements
