Build Your Own Country Performance Task!

TASK: You will be provided with the opportunity to create your own country,
which can combine aspects from three countries we have talked about. So far we
have discussed life in Canada, India, Peru, Tunisia, and the Ukraine. For each
“category”, you will have to pick the country you would want to pull that aspect
from, and explain your reasoning behind it.

For example, for my own country I would want my food to be Indian because I like
the spices and flavours used here. This is the traditional food I would select for my
country.

 You must select between only Canada, Peru, India, Tunisia, and the
Ukraine.
 Your country must have all of the following categories/factors:

- Food
- Clothing
- Landscape/Climate
- Houses/Building
- Plants and Animals
- Sports and Hobbies
- Jobs
- Health System
- Education/Schooling System
- Population/Size
- Location in the world

In detail, and with examples, describe the quality of life your citizens would have
if they were to live in your country. Explain your reasoning for why it is a good/not
good country to live in, and how the living conditions of your country effect the
people residing there.

When submitting your project, use ‘Flipgrid’. The classroom code is: 2019social3.
I want you to verbally tell me what aspects of each country you are taking, and
putting into your imaginary country. Here you will explain why you are taking
food from a certain place, clothing from another, etc. The video should be between
5-7 minutes.
