Greetings!
Truly, on the job training really helps students to enhance their skills and capabilities and to
observe the proper things that has to be done inside the office.
This day was the first initiation of the business simulation and immersion. At first, we were
obligated to attend the flag ceremony in school before going to the different immersion places and this
was also the meeting point for us students. Afterwards, our immersion teacher assisted us in going to the
Ilocos Sur Capitol. Moreover, in our clan we were divided into groups wherein we were placed on the
different departments of the Ilocos Sur Capitol. Fortunately, we as partners are friend and was assigned in
the Provincial Accounting Office. Furthermore, Mrs. Leilani Arce, head of the Provincial Accounting
Office, introduce us to her co-workers and so on, she oriented us on what to do inside the office. We felt
excitement with a little bit worried for the works that has to be done. One of the employees taught us on
what to do. Thrisha was obligated in capturing vouchers while Justin was assigned to rename the captured
documents. Meanwhile, Kuya Jason asked us for the lunch. They treated us Mang Inasal. Additionally, in
the afternoon, we were again given a free snacks which is a banana cue.
Lastly, we continued what we’ve started until it is already time. We were bit flustered when we
departed from the office, though it is tiring yet it was a great start of immersion.

Greetings!
Truly, on the job training really helps students to enhance their skills and capabilities and to
observe the proper things that has to be done inside the office.
This day was the second initiation of the business simulation and immersion. I was just the only
one who went to the Ilocos Sur Capitol because Carl Justin went to Pangasinan to compete for the
National Schools Press Conference. It was nerve wracking entering the accounting office alone but the
employees let me feel that I am one of them. The whole day I worked at the second floor, organizing all
the pictures by putting them on their designated folder.
Today I learned to work on my own feet without the help of others. I learned to be independent
and I am proud of myself.

It was my first time working on a xerox machine I still finished my task properly. On the afternoon, I was
assigned to rename the captured documents on the computer.

The continuity of tasks with passion and love makes the work be done gratefully and
skillfully. Hence, this day was indeed a tiring yet a worth remembering day.
To start the day, we, the students have had some exercises before entering the Accounting
Office. Then, we started doing our own tasks in the Office. Justin was assigned in checking and
reviewing the monthly payroll of the different offices of the Capitol while Thrisha was pointed to
do the stamping of the papers. After that, Justin helped Thrisha in stamping the papers since he
had already finished doing his task because there are many papers to be stamped on. Until such
time, we’ve come to finish those papers, and it was already time.
Truly, with hard work, dedication and camaraderie are the keys to successfully and easily
done a work.
Respectfully yours,

“Value has a value if and only if its value is valued,” quoted from the speech of Bryan G.
Dyson, CEO-Coca Cola. Indeed, with humility and perseverance, tasks are given with enough
importance.
Upon entering the office, we sat for a while in the corner waiting for some tasks.
Henceforth, we are helping our co-immersion students in their current task which is printing
while we are doing nothing. Until such time, one employee gave Justin a work which is to
subtract the transactions made by the offices in the bank and wrote it down on the paper. After
that, Ma’am May asked Justin to buy some supplies for the office. Unfortunately, Justin went to
the store thrice maybe because of some sort of mis receptions. However, the favor was
beautifully done. Meanwhile, Thrisha run as an errand inside the office. She was assigned in
photocopying, printing, and separating the files. Furthermore, Justin was tasked to balance the
made transactions in the computer together with in the paper. Additionally, he was also asked to
sort out the xerox copies of the transactions made by the different offices based from the given
paper. Then, I helped Thrisha in her works since I am already done with my tasks. Without
complaining, we extended our time to finish the work as pledge of finishing the tasks that have
been told to us.
Together as one, we could give significance on the works that we are having by doing all
our best.

NARRATIVE REPORT
The time is clicking and the finishing line is already around the corner. The halfway of
the immersion.
As we engaged in the oofice, we sat for a while because there were no available works
for us. An hour after, the head asked us to attend the Ash Wednesday Mass at the second floor of
the Provincial Capitol and we accompanied the employees onto this. And so, one of the
employees gave us a task to stamped on all of the supporting documents. Henceforth, we asked
the employees if there were some works to do so that we could help them, unfortunately, there
were being none. As we sat in the corner, some employees made us errunds inside the office
because we were tasked to give the finished papers to the other employee and then to the other
employee again. In the afternoon, one employee requested Justin to go to the Land Bank of the
Philippines and the Development Bank of the Philippines to affix their signature upon receiving
the paper. Meanwhile, Thrisha Ahnn was tasked to get a withdrawal slip at BDO. An half hour
after, Justin volunteered to help one of the employee in arranging the documents while Thrisha
Ahnn was asked to record some of the transactions. Lastly, we were very grateful to the office
for they provided the necessary things for us.
It really is to give the big shot of ours for at the end there’s no regrets.

EVALUATION FORM
REFLECTION
As the Former CEO of the Coca Cola Philippines, Bryan G. Dyson said in his statement,
“Value has a value only if its value has valued.” In this quote, really, it encompasses the essence
of a work to a worker that no things will overpass the family, friends, spirit and health.
Being engaged in this worth remembering work immersion particularly in the Accounting
Office of the Province of Ilocos Sur Capitol have made fully equipped and knowledgeable on the
different things that are needed to be done inside an office. I am very much pleased to what I
observed and saw in the office most especially to the very approachable and workaholic
employees because they are working beyond their limits and yet they are still happy and talking
with each other. Additionally, in their humble office I experienced the warmth of their love as
they treated each other as family with their Head Mrs. Leilani Arce. Technically, the employees
really respect ma’am Lanie in terms of working as a sign of positions and authority. They still
maintain their border lines between each other. Another thing is that, they do care their health
because they are not skipping any meals and snacks for, they believe that health is top most
priority in working. Being ordered and clean in doing things make the work be easily done, this
is what I learned as well in the office. And lastly, this immersion made me believe in myself that
someday I will be in an office sitting facing computers and analyzing the different documents
and affixing my signatures.
Indeed, through this immersion a lot of things happened, though I had received some
feedbacks that I must take as a challenge to improve myself because I believe that there is a room
for improvement. I will and will never be forget this work immersion of mine for it brought to
me lessons and experiences that had already engraved in my heart and in my mind.
RECOMMENDATION
This immersion wasn’t perfect because of some circumstances that needed to be addressed in the
following years. The following are some recommendations for the betterment of the immersion:
