Now receive this item at inventory mis. Receipt

Transaction
Make work order for capital asset to resolve problem but it turn out problem is with Rebuildable
item.
Enter Rebuildable item at material screen
At store tab issue idle Rebuildable item to solve the issue and bring back asset in working
condition
Pick problematic item

Click apply

Make sure to select From serial to replace with item laying idle

Issue material from capital work order

ENTER QUANTITY 1

Material has been issued and child work order has been created for the maintenance of
motherboard which was replaced with new 1.
Now you can perform the maintenance on it if you want or you can scrap this as per
requirement.
Rebuildable cost enabled
If rebuildable item need to be costed than
Make sure value Rebuildable at zero cost is not checked

NOTE: In above scenario Rebuildable is at zero cost

Now at master item

Inventory asset value is checked allow us to enter cost at the time of mis. Receipt

IMP Note: if inventory asset value give following error it is simple because of item has received

Material transaction
Created new HP Rebuildable item and asset number (refer to above process) and create work
order with cost
