Internet is not working

Step1:-

First we have to check with LAN connection, if LAN properly connected means go to Step2

Step2:-

Check with ping test for(Internet connection for system)

Windows +R

Cmd

Ok

Ping Ip address (like 192.168.1.13) –t

Enter

If you getting reply from server means Internet is working.

If you getting request time out like these internet is not working, in that go to step 3

Step3:-

Check with IP address, IP is properly configured or not

If is not configured means we have to configure go to step 4


Step4:-

Ip Configuration

Go to Run

Windows +R

In command line type ncpa.cpl

OK

It will go to Network page

In that page select the Ethernet option

Select Properties

Select TCP/IP v4 [double click]

Give Ip address

(or)

Select Ip address automatically options

Ok
After completion of Ip address check with Internet Its working fine,, Issue resolved

Ip conflict issues

It means two systems taking same Ip address (we can find the tallow mark on network icon)

In that time

Step1:-

Go to Run

Windows +R

CMD

Ok

Ipconfig/release

Ok

Ip address released, Next we have assign the Ip address for that system

Go to Run

Windows +R

CMD


Ok

Ipconfig/renew

Ok

New Ip address assigned successfully

2. Ms Outlook Configuration

It is specially designed for professional mail activities like, sending and receiving mails, we can
store the mail backup.

Open MS Outlook

Click on File

We have to select add account

In add account page we have to give User details like user name and password

Next click on manually set up (or) additional server type

Select POP3 or IMAP


Next

Give the user information

Account type IMAP

Port number 143

Server information

Incoming Server

POP3-110

IMAP-143

Outgoing Server

SMTP-25

Login information

Next click on more settings

Select outgoing server

Click on my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

Next click on Advanced


Select this server require an encrypted connection (SSL) for incoming server

For outgoing select SSL give port number

Ok

MS Outlook configured successfully

Go to MS Outlook

Select the file

Select the account setting

Click on account settings

Click on data files

Click on add

Give file name

4. Difference between PST&OST

PST:- Personal Storage Table, Stored in system C-drive


OST:- Offline Storage Table, Stored in Server

Local Printer Configuration

Go to control panel

Select devices&printers

Click on add printer

Select on manually

Create new port

Select the standard TCP/IP on port

6. IP configuration

Go to Run command

Windows +R

Enter command ncpa.cpl

Ok

Network connection page will open

Select Ethernet

Right click on Ethernet ,select properties


Select Tcp/Ipv4

Here we have two options

Obtain Ip address automatically

If you click on obtain, Ip address configure automatically. No need to give Ip address

You have to give Ip address manually

Go to Run command

Windows +R

Cmd

Ok

Ipconfig (Enter)

You can find ip address

Default gateway

Subnet mask


Copy Ip address

Paste there

Apply

Ok

Ip address configured successfully.

7. Joining work group to domain

Go to system properties

Select change settings

Select change

Select the domain

Give the domain name

Ok

8. How to take remote


Right click on this pc

Properties

Select remote setting

Click on allow remote connection to this computer

Ok

Go to Run

Type Command MSTSC

Ok

Enter the Ip address of other system for remote connection

Click Connect
