Seal of Solomon

Requirements: The caster must perform a lengthy(about a half hour to an hour or more)
ritual while drawing a complex circular symbol on a selected surface. The symbol itself
can be any size.

Effect: If a demon or Fallen unwittingly steps into the circle, they are effectively trapped
permanently. Or rather, trapped until the circle is disturbed in any way or if the demon is
excorcized(if possible). The target cannot attack or defend against an attack while within
the Seal of Solomon. Please note that the Seal does not always work on more powerful
hellspawn, and it is even possible to dispell with the right ritual.

Devil's Trap
Quick Cast: No
Power Level: 2

Requirements: The caster must draw, etch, or carve a symbol resembling a pentacle
inside a triangle on or into a selected object or area. The symbol itself can be any size.
This spell can be used on a house(even if a vamp is invited into your home, they will not
be able to enter as long as the symbol is drawn upon your door), trunk or box, or even
land area.

Effect: The Devil's Trap keeps unwanted demons and Fallen out. Unlike the Seal, even
your high power Bads aren't getting in. This is especially useful if you need to hide
something you don't want evil creatures getting their slimy mits on. That is not to say
that they won't send a human minion in to get it, however. This only lasts as long as the
symbol remains intact.

Demon Summoning
Quick Cast: No
Power Level: 5

Requirements: Blood from the caster, acacia, oil of abramelin(these three ingredients
mixed in a bowl together), a symbol drawn in chalk on the floor(stone or wood floors
work best), and candles sequentially placed within the symbol. All while chanting in latin,
and imagining the target.

Effect: This spell summons a demon or Fallen to the caster's location from Hell, or
wherever the beast currently is at the time of casting. This spell does not bind the
creature to the caster's will, however, and the caster is almost definately putting great
risk to himself. The creature in mind gets a willpower doubled roll to resist(and must get
a number of success levels equal to or greater than the power level of the spell) if it so
chooses. Most won't, however, and just prefer to rip the caster apart when they get there
instead.

In reading these over myself, I have come up with a fairly dastardly idea...were I a spell-
slinger with access to these spells...I would cast seal of solomon on the ceiling and cast
demon summon on the floor. Then I could easily kill the bastard. So these spells, like alot
of things, leave room for players to completely derail a director's plan.
Summon Crossroads Demon
Quick Cast: No
Power Level: 1

Requirements: First, yarrow flowers must be planted and fully grown around the crossing
of two dirt roads. The caster must gather a photo of themselves, a bottle of graveyard
dirt, a black cat bone, and a lock of horsehair and place them in a box or small sack. This
is then buried dead center of the crossroads. From there, the caster need only wait a
moment or two.

Effect: This ritual summons a creature known as The Crossroads Demon. It is a

Possessing Fallen, and usually takes the form of a beautiful woman. From here, deals or
pacts can be struck. Anything the caster wants to be, be it a famous blues artist, master
architect, what-have-you, the Crossroads Demon can make it happen. Alternatively, the
demon can restore the dead back to life, although there's a great probability that the
person in question comes back very wrong. Any other desires the caster has is pretty
much up to director's discretion on whether or not the demon can or will supply.

This pact is not always sunshine and daisies. In fact, it's almost always not. The cost is
the caster's life, or even the life of a friend or loved one. It's open to negotiation when
the Crossroads Demon will collect. The collectors are Hellhounds that literally frighten the
debtees to death.

As you can tell from the power level, the ritual is incredibly easy(that is, if you're patient
enough to let the flowers grow) to complete. That's because the Crossroads Demon
wants to make a deal with you.

Power Level: 6

Requirements: Access to this ritual is extremely rare. Very few Possessing Fallen know of
it's existence, even less of it's practice. Humans who are aware of the ritual and can put
it into action are even fewer still. First, the Possessing Fallen must already be inhabiting
it's human host. Then, the caster must chant briefly in latin, and brand the Fallen's
angelic symbol in the host's forearm. This does 10 points of burning damage.

Effect: This essentially locks the Fallen into the host's body, making them immune to
exorcism. The Fallen is tethered to this form, and nothing short of distrupting the brand
or the host's death can release him. The brand can be disrupted or removed by burning
or cutting it.
